I don't really ever leave bad reviews for anywhere or anything because I know things happen but with the amount of money we paid for our stay, I feel I need to be honest about our experience. Overall the resort is beautiful and the marriage conference (Weekend to Remember) we were there for was great but that's where the praise ends. When we checked in and got to our room we noticed that there wasn't a remote. Not a big deal, but we definitely wanted one and called to request one. The lady on the phone at the concierge desk asked me if I was drunk and if that's why I couldn't find it. I work in addiction ministry and was not amused by her comment. She then said she would have one sent to us but it never came. When we got back from dinner that evening I went to the front desk and once again requested a remote. It finally came about an hour later. There are no vending machines but they do have a couple places to buy snacks and drinks although they close early so if you happen to be up late theres no option to purchase anything unless you go to the convenience store off the property. While walking to one of our sessions in the ballroom, we walked by a guest room with vulgar rap music BLARING. This was still going on when we went back to our room an hour later. Parking was absolutely ridiculous for the amount you pay to park there. Like I said, I wouldn't normally complain because I know life happens, but we paid about $1000 for 2 nights so I am very disappointed. Do better.
