A perfect place to stay with our parents, kids and dog! The proximity to the dog park was amazing! The elevator was a nice perk for our parents. The house was clean, spacious and nicely decorated to feel like a home away from home.

Location near tennis courts made this location perfect for us. A longer walk to beach entrance worked for some of my group but the availability to drive and park for free close to entrance worked for the restPool was not used as it's always in shade and just too cold. Also no outdoor seating in sun anywhere so sometimes we all sat in the garage to be able to sit in the sunThe picture of living room is not current. Larger couch is there now Bedrooms were all good size and the whole House was very clean House was pet friendly but walking up and down stairs into the house with two dogs was definately a workout! No view of any kind.

Exactly as pictured

The house was very comfortable and well stocked. New living room furniture (different from pictures). Comfortable beds and bedrooms. Plenty of linens. Beach is a comfortable walk (about 15 min), easy and safe walk or bike ride. Great communication with Island Reality before, during, and after our stay.

Annual Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 7 adults and 4 children and this house was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone and comfortable sleeping arrangements. House was clean and fairly well stocked. This neighborhood is really nice with easy access to the beach and Chaplin park. Highly recommend renting bikes for the week with pull behind carts for the easiest beach access, there is no parking at the beach access but lots of bike racks. Great island location for all activities on Hilton head. The only issue we had was the family room TV would all of a sudden get super loud (volume 80-90) and you couldn’t get it to turn down. This happened several times and we finally powered off the sound system as it kept switching between tv and sound system speakers. Recommendations: some plastic dishes for kids (bowls/plates/cups) placemats for glass table - one more “comfy” piece of furniture in living room. These are very small things!! We had an amazing time, would highly recommend and we are talking about next summer already.

Enjoyed the Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really enjoyed the home. It is an easy walk to the beach if the weather is nice and not too hot. It is a very challenging walk if it is hot, sunny and you are carrying beach gear. However, the company we stayed with provided a free shuttle to the beach. The shuttle was large enough for all our gear. This was a game changer.

Good location

Floor plan is smaller than it appears in photos. Carpets and pool deck area are in need of cleaning. Our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Lot of stairs, thank goodness for elevator. Well stocked kitchen. Beach shuttle was super convenient for all of our stuff and they were prompt and friendly. Beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. Property manager was helpful and courteous. Overall a good experience!

3 families and a tropical storm

We had a group of 3 families with small children and found this house to be very comfortable and had a great time! The pool is such a plus for kids!! The beach is a short golf-cart ride away- having the beach buggy service is so NICE! You could walk to the beach, however it is mostly paved road with no shade so it would be a hot journey. Great communication with property mgmt., especially as we did have some weather move in while on vacation- they kept us informed the whole time. The pool area does need some TLC- but overall did not negatively impact our experience. It was a quiet neighborhood and close to a park as well which is great for kids/families.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was good. Only issue is the pool. It should be included in price since it never gets sunlight. Also some cracks in pool shows black fungae and worms crawling around in it. Black algea. The pool was never cleaned and full of leaves in bottom I had to manage myself. Also adding a bigger TV in the pool area will enhanve the experience even more

Perfect Family Vacay House

We had the most wonderful stay at this rental. It’s hard to know where to begin because everything was just right. The home was exactly as described- clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished with cozy accommodations that made it perfect for our group of multiple families. The location was ideal. We loved having easy access to a quieter part of the beach, and the shuttle service was incredibly convenient. (Patti, the driver, was incredible!) We never had to wait more than a few minutes, and the walk or bike ride to the beach was just as enjoyable. Being so close to Shelter Cove gave us everything we needed without the crowds. The pool and garage were also great amenities to have, and we were so thankful for both. The pool was a relaxing spot for the whole family, and having access to the garage made storing bikes and beach gear a breeze. The host was incredibly responsive before check-in, and everything during our stay went so smoothly that we never had to reach out. Still, it was clear that if we had needed anything, it would have been taken care of quickly. We would absolutely rent this home again and recommend it without hesitation.

Quiet and clean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was in a great neighborhood so quiet and close to beach and Shelter Cove. Great elevator for luggage and groceries. Nice variety of bedrooms/ bed sizes. Nice amenities and standard setup products / kitchen/ toiletries. The negatives: Pool is not covered so wouldn’t rent again during fall/ leaves. Concrete floor near pool had a big lip so it is trip hazard- put long rug over to cover. Main living area was somewhat dark; tv was a pain to operate. Pool heating cost (optional) was exorbitant. Stairway and hallway Carpet needs replacing.

Family vacation

We have been going to Hilton head for over 30 years and stayed at just about every type of accommodation. This house was perfect for our family of babies, toddlers and adults. Each room was spacious and gave everyone enough room to have their own space while the common areas were larger than what the pictures made them appear. Property was clean and is well maintained overall. Pool area could use a little sprucing up but it’s just cosmetic stuff that doesn’t reduce how you are able to utilize. Hosts were more than communicative but not intrusive. If you are looking for a property close to the beach I would not recommend this as it’s atleast a 10 minute walk to either public access near it. It is close to Chaplin park which is a great spot for bike riding, walking, running or parking to head to the beach. Would recommend and my standards are pretty high.
