When we checked in to the property, the gate code that was given to us from the management company was wrong. And since it was Saturday and the property office was closed, it took about an hour to get in to the property. Frustrating but no biggie, we were in!
Upon entering the building, we were a bit concerned as very dated outdoor carpet lined the steps and hallways. We were hesitant to open the door but were relieved when we did. The interior of the condo was not out of date but rather appropriately decorated for a beach home. After we opened the windows to rid the smell of cat urine (either it disappeared or we became accustom to it after a few days) we were right at home. The condo itself is spacious and full of light with gorgeous views. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need (although the knives were as dull as dull can be!) Towels exceeds expectations, bed sheets were par for a rental. Did I mention the views and location?! The couch needs replaced as it is sticky and old and the floors, while not dusty, were dirty. Meaning that you had to wear shoes or your feet/socks would be black instantly. All in all, the location to the beach was fabulous and the views from the condo are what we paid for. We weren’t expecting a stay at the Ritz, but did feel obligated to report our true experience. We would stay there again, without a doubt.
