Top Notch Condo - slechts enkele minuten van het strand

Onze Ocean retraite is gelegen in de gated community, The Moorings, binnen Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. Het is Unit 19. De 2-slaapkamer, 3-bad-eenheid is prachtig gerenoveerd en is persoonlijk onderhouden door onze medewerkers zich op het eiland.

Het toestel is 1260 vierkante voet en biedt voldoende ruimte voor gezinnen of meerdere paren. De woonkamer heeft een 50 "Plasma Flat Screen TV met een Bose surround sound Stereo / DVD-systeem. De kamer is perfect voor het kijken naar de grote wedstrijd, uw favoriete film, of genieten van een cocktail uur met muziek. De familie kamer heeft ook een queen size slaapbank. De Master Suite heeft een kingsize bed, complete badkamer, en een 36 "flatscreen-tv en een Blu-Ray DVD-speler. De tweede slaapkamer heeft 2 full-size bedden, een complete badkamer, en een 42 "flatscreen-tv en een Blu-Ray DVD-speler. De woonkamer en slaapkamers bieden toegang tot twee houten dekken voor het nemen in de natuurlijke schoonheid van het gebied. Een derde volledige badkamer (met douche) is gelegen langs de gang. De keuken is volledig uitgerust en beschikt over een gloednieuwe roestvrij staal oven en magnetron. Het apparaat heeft ook een eigen nieuwe wasmachine en droger.

Naast de eenheid is de Moorings Private Pool. Het strand is slechts een korte chip schot vanaf de voordeur. De nabijheid van het strand maakt vele back-n-weer reizen en betekent dat je niet hoeft om te rijden en uitladen van uw auto (of kijk voor het parkeren). Gelegen aan het strand ingang is de Dunes House, die schone toiletten biedt, evenals een seizoen bediende Bar and Grill (adviseren wij de vis taco's, garnalen en koud bier).

Ook op slechts een korte loopafstand van de voordeur is de Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center, de Robert Trent Jones golfbaan, The General Store (boodschappen, take-out, strand benodigdheden en nog veel meer), Alexander's Restaurant, en de fiets, kajak / kano verhuur. Het apparaat is naast het Marriott Beach Resort and Spa, waarvan 2 restaurants, bars, kinderkampen, een spa, en zelfs Starbucks Coffee biedt.

Palmetto Dunes is beroemd om zijn 3 golfbanen van wereldklasse, met inbegrip van George Fazio, Arthur Hills, en Robert Trent Jones, en beschikt ook over mijl van prachtig aangelegde fiets / wandelroutes (en zelfs een tunnel onder Rte. 278 naar Shelter Cove Marina, een waterkant collectie van restaurants, winkels, entertainment en boot / visserij charter verhuur). Palmetto Dunes biedt ook een gratis pendeldienst naar Shetler Cove en andere eiland locaties.

The location and complex this unit is in was everything! The unit was exactly as described. Dated but clean and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The location was superb. Just a quick walk over to the ocean. My puppy dog loved being here - we were able to go to the beach many times during the day because it was so close. Host was really responsive too. Thank you!

Great get away!

This place has an ideal location near the ocean, pickleball, golf, bike riding and a couple places to eat. The condo has a nice layout with beds, bathrooms and porch spaces on each side with shared common area. We planned to take our dog but at last minute decided against bringing her and the owner was very understanding and returned pet money. Check in/out was simple. Love the Palmetto Dunes area!

Great Location

Working with Mike was easy, including check-in and overall communication. Furniture is comfortable and the TV in the living room is a very nice upgrade. Everything is functional and very clean. It was awesome to be able to bring our dog who loves the beach and is a Hilton Head veteran at this point.

Quick Christmas getaway

This condo checked all of the boxes for a last-minute (we booked 3 days before) Christmas getaway! Comfortable and roomy for us, our pup, and our two teen boys; and short walking distance to the ocean where we walked a couple of times a day on the dog-friendly beach. The description and photos are accurate of the condo. Yes, it could use some updating, but I did not mind the older bathrooms and counters for the price we paid. During warmer weather, I would have loved to take advantage of the adjacency to the pool as well, but unheated in the winter and left me wishing for a hot tub in the complex instead! The owner was responsive to our questions. I just feel bad that it was obvious that others had disrespected the owner/property in the past based what we saw that was damaged -like the wooden blinds and the poor coaster set in the living room -- or no longer offered -- like the beach chairs or bikes. The only thing I couldn't find in the kitchen to meet our needs was cookie sheets, but all else was fine and checkout a breeze! The pup loved the deer and squirrels that we saw daily near the condo as well and walking distance to the general store, beach rental place, and pickleball/tennis courts.

Spectacular location

This was a perfect holiday, Hilton Head is a wonderful location and our condo was literally 4 minutes walk from the beach. I have never experienced sea water this warm, it is absolutely gorgeous. We also had the bonus of a pool literally yards from the condo which again was so warm. I must stress how well appointed the condo was, very nice furnishings and hugely comfortable beds. I have to mention how nice other guests in the condos were, such a friendly group from all over the US.I cannot recommend Hilton Head and particularly our condo highly enough.

Better than advertised

I would say this is one of the most comfortable places I have ever stayed at on vacation. The place has been updated since the listing photos were taken. There is some extra seating in the living room and the furniture is very comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable and exceeded my expectations. Water pressure in the showers was also excellent. The 3rd bathroom is also a huge plus! Mike is an excellent host and responded immediately to any questions I had and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. If you are the type of person that wheels a lot of stuff to the beach, I would recommend leaving the beach stuff in your vehicle and getting a parking spot right by the ramp in the morning and loading and unloading there as the pavement from the condo to the beach is a little rough. Dog friendly beach retreat

Wonderful stay ! The pictures do not do the place justice. The proximity of the property to the beach can't be beat. (Only 300 steps from door to sand) We were so grateful that Michael allows pets as we were able to take our senior dog "Annie" with us. We highly recommend this property. Plan on returning.
