The food at the restaurant is good but not at the highest level you can experience in the area.
We enjoyed the location a lot being very close to Pienza and Montelpulciano. Unfortunately the rooms are quite close to the main road and it can get noisy early in the morning.
The view on Pienza is simply marvellous as well as the country road to Monticchiello.'

Rooms are small but well appointed. Staff was extremely nice, professional and accommodating . Be aware no elevator. Loved San Quirico d’Orcia. Smaller mountaintop town, highly walkable , not overrun by tourists but the same charm, history and leisure options as the larger towns in Tuscany.'

'Tuscany was a dream come true! Podere Spedalone was magnificent. The staff was welcoming and very attentive always with a smile and accomodating. I loved that several ofvtheir staff spoke Spanish. We had the most fabulous dinner there with other guests. The food was delicious. They paid attention to every detail. We would definitely go back. We highly recommend it.
