'I always have great experiences at Holiday *nn Express. Room was clean and well maintained. Staff was super nice and accommodating. They got us a portable crib for my 3 month old which was really awesome. Break was great. No smoking allowed on the property. I will only stay at Holiday inn Express from now on.'

'This hotel is fantastic! Gorgeous design, super friendly staff, perfect location, and great connection to the uva community. The rooms were well appointed with super soft robes and towels. The staff went above and beyond to greet us. We also ate at the main restaurant Poplar and the food, decor and service was perfect! I’m excited to continue to visit this fantastic addition to the uva community!'

'The hotel is beautiful - sleek and chic! Great location and stellar staff. The rooftop bar and restaurant is my favorite place in Charlottesville. (The gluten-free pizza is FANTASTIC!). The rooms are nice, but there was mildew on the shower walls the last 2 times we stayed there. The gym has some broken equipment, but that won't stop us from coming back! The best value in the area. 'Mandatory calet (26 dollar and tip) and breakfast was only a 20 usd credit, so i got only coffee and granola with a mini muffin. The rip off definitely. Go somewhere else for a 300 usd room'

The reason we chose this hotel was because it had an onsite restaurant. We had to crawl on the floor to get the refrigerator turned on. There was no soap in the bathroom, but a soap dish--the housekeeper didn't have any--we had to go to the front desk for a simple bar of soap????
