A coffee/tea machine would make the room a lot better. Wifi should also be upgraded, it sometimes disconnects and the signal is very weak in some areas (it was best in the bathroom for some reason...).'

'Vriendelijk personeel, grote kamer met enorm bed, prima ontbijt (wel met treurige klassieke muziek...), helaas geen waterkoker oid op de kamer. Beetje lastig te vinden omdat er nergens een bord staat, google maps helpt.'

I got there very late so all I could do was have a quick pint then have nose around, it's more of a suit and tie place (me I prefer boots, jeans and a old t-shirt) good place if you love golf and want to look fancy in the evening in the drawing room with a sniff of brandy.'

"I booked the (cheapest) hotel room for a layover night for a multi-day trip by car. The room was dated but the bed felt good and the bathroom was clean. However when I was about to go to sleep it turned out there were no curtains so it was impossible to block the sunlight. When I raised the issue to the staff member at the desk she contacted the manager, after which I got the answer that not all rooms have curtains but it's possible to have an upgrade to the superior room for a 20 euros surplus, as the other rooms of the same category were already in use by other customers.
After explaining that some way to block out sunlight is essential in a hotel room, the room itself was fine beside the missing curtains and I feel like it's unfair to pay for an unneeded upgrade just because they made a mistake with the room, it was possible to get the upgrade for free instead.
The superior room was very good with comfortable beds and a large and clean bathroom.
My overall experience was very positive and I would absolutely come back to this hotel, however suggesting that "not all rooms come with curtains" instead of owning up to their mistake was quite an interesting experience."
