'Way overrated...location is all it has going for it. Embassy Suites is better for a full service stay. They put us, who booked through Expedia, in a second floor room overlooking the parking lot lol...possibly the worst room they have, when it wasn't even crowded lol. When we went to check out they said the "system is down" and couldn't correctly check us out. A 3 star resort at best. Don't expect a 5 star experience.'

'Eenvoudig maar schoon hotel, dichtbij het strand. Strandstoelen, parasols en diverse strandspeelgoed liggen bij de receptie om te kunnen gebruiken, erg fijn. Fietsverhuur naast de deuren. En een lekker ontbijtje bij Cappy's een paar deuren verder. '

'The hotel was nice and the staff were very helpful and polite. However, the pool construction was delayed by months. I would recommend.'

'First room was dirty with dirt on the floor and bed. Second room had dirt on floor and greasy floor. I had to find the cleaning lady to come clean under the bed and there were food wrappers, balls of dust, food, and a huge screw. Fire alarm woke us up two nights during stay after which we decided to check out early. Staff is aware of the alarm issue and apparently the showers don’t have proper ventilation and frequently set off fire alarm. Too bad because the location was great.'

'to answer Expedia's questions. What I like about my stay at Star Inn Motel; its close to freeways, highways and right in the middel of the area I need to be. Great rooms, comfy beds every things is clean. They keep upgrading the place. Super staff! What I dont like at staying at Star Inn Motel....nothing really. It is absolutely great. '

'This hotel is amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Very beautiful decor (my favorite color is purple so I may be a little bias) the details were well thought out. The landscape was beautiful and peaceful. Right outside the door they have a big pitcher of cucumber and lemon water. That's the moment they stole my heart! Lol The staff very warm, welcoming, and friendly. The rooms super clean. (No hairs, anywhere). The beds were comfortable, showers hot, the floors/walls are solid no...

'The amenities were fantastic and the staff were accommodating. The DJ at the pool was fun and made the experience excellent. Ashley Cruz at guest services was amazing and made the stay fabulous. I would recommend staying at this location not only for the above mentioned but for ADA accommodations and the location across the street from Newport Bay!'
