As a bonus we even got to see the big 5 but that was just a pleasant surprise to accompany the fantastic stay! 10s across the board for everyone who helped us.

First of all the staff here is amazing, from Itu at the front desk to our awesome guides/ranger Jeffery and Grandpa, and the wait staff wants nothing more than for you to be happy! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. We stayed in the Superior for 7 days, we had 7 days of adventure. It was beautiful, exciting, lavish, and challenging at times. It is Africa and not the Crown Plaza. That is the reason we came here and we were rewarded with a lifetime of memories. You are away from the lodge and secluded which we loved. You do need a ride to the main lodge. The baboons love to come through in the morning and in the evening, we loved it every time! I miss everyone there, they treated us like family the entire time.

The best safari resort
Beautiful room, essentially it’s a whole structure to yourself that includes an outdoor shower. Every meal was five stars. Every game drive was amazing. Every worker was beyond kind and welcoming. This is easily the nicest hotel/resort I have ever stayed at.

Safari inacreditável!
Lodge que atende poucos hóspedes ao mesmo tempo, o que cria uma experiência mais exclusiva. Os rangers fazem de tudo para encontrar os big-five. Atendimento ótimo de todos os funcionarios.

What I love the most is the game drives. We spotted all the big 5s plus Cheetah and many other animals. Other than the Am private reserve, they will also take you to Kruger for game drives. Amazing guide, Collen and Arnold. Everyone working in AM Lodge from receptionist, security, restaurant manager to chefs are kind, sincere and helpful. They took good care of us. Food is on average side. But you will not go hungry. It would be better if we can have more variety of drinks like fresh juices or some simple mocktails. Property looks beautiful but some furnitures are a little worn out. The outdoor deck at our lodge has ant nest and it is not being cleaned up. Rusty table on the outdoor deck. So we didn't really enjoy the outdoor deck as much.

I’m not sure where to begin....was it really real? Or was it a dream? Maybe you’re someone who only requires the best in everything, or maybe you’re someone who just says let’s go for it—AM Lodge is perhaps the best lodging I’ve ever had the good fortune to stay in. It must be in the top 3 lodges in all of Southern Africa. The service was excellent. From the staff in the restaurant, to the warm welcome of the receptionist, to the game drivers and massage therapists, we felt superbly pampered. We had one of the top massages we have ever received in my lifetime. And the food was excellent! What a chef! The rooms themselves were over the top luxurious, with romantic furnishings, outdoor game-viewing tree house, and an amazing outdoor shower. Our every wish was accommodated with smiles, and endless South African charm. Oh—and did I mention the game viewing? Our guide, and tracker were unstoppable! Two cheetahs, 3 rhinos (+ baby rhino), ostriches, zebras, giraffe, hyenas, buffalo, kudu, nyala, Genet, plus a myriad of other antelope were all in the first 24 hours. Then in the next two days we saw two male lions patrolling at night, and over 50 elephants walking, eating, frolicking in the water, UNBELIEVABLE! Amazing stay overall!

Out of this world experience!!!!!
We stayed at the AM lodge for 2 nights for our honeymoon and only wished we stayed longer. Don’t even know where to start, but our experience from the minute we entered the resort grounds to the minute we got dropped off at the airport was amazing. Staff is friendly and attentive to details, foods was ridiculously good. The hotel has private villas which are located far away from one another so you get an absolute privacy. The villa was super big, very cleanly and nicely decorated- loved the princess bed and outdoor shower. You can see the empallas and playing monkeys through the bathroom window. The villa is located in the wild park area, so you can’t walk around by yourself. We heard lions roaring in the middle of the night around 100metres from our villa. They stay is all Inclusive which includes your all meals and drinks, 2 safari rides per day and airport transfers. Would definitely stay here again!!

I always dreamed with a Safari, but the idea of sleeping in the middle of the bush stopped me for a while. Nevertheless, AM Lodge was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Here is some of the things that made our week out of this world: 1) During the flight my husband got food poisoning. He started feeling bad before we arrived to the lodge. Sadly, during the first night he got worse and we decided to go to the hospital. At 4:00am we called the reception and Lerato from the front desk took us to the nearest hospital and stayed with us 6 hours!!! She was making sure all the procedures were correct, bought the medicine requested by the doctor, and was constantly making sure that my husband was doing ok (not only that day but the entire week!) 2) Gaming experience: We were extremely happy to have Collin and Albert during our Safari. This two guys are awesome! In the first day, we saw all big 5!!!!! We saw lions every day, and sometimes they were pretty close. Albert and Collin really understood animal behavior, which made our game drives absolutely awesome and safe! 3) Dinning: The lodge makes sure you always have food you like. We are vegetarians, and we never felt the need of ask special food. They were always asking if the menu was aligned to our expectations. Also, the Lodge was full of surprises. One night we had a romantic dinner on our room (without even asking for it) and the last night, they did a bbq (with veggie options) for all the people at the lodge. AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Amazing! Cannot say the same of hotel transfer
The hotel is amazing! The only thing that is bothering us with the experience is that we lost our flight due to a mismanagement of the hotel transfer, and it is being kind of hard to solve this amicably. I would expect more of this kind of hotel.

Bom hotel, custo/benefício um pouco decepcionante
Um bom hotel, com quartos amplos, porém a comida decepcionante. Eramos os únicos hóspedes do hotel e tínhamos a impressão que a comida servida, era o que tinha sobrado na despensa/geladeira do hotel, não parecia fresca. Ponto forte do hotel com certeza foram os Rangers. Realmente fazem de tudo para que os hóspedes vejam os Big 5 e os safaris com eles são sensacionais. São feitos tanto na reserva privada deles quanto em uma outra reserva privada adjacente ao Kruger. Hotel é muito seguro, porém não se deve sair do quarto sozinho, por causa dos animais. Durante 2 noites, tarde da noite, escutamos os leões do nosso quarto, emocionante! O preço é um pouco alto pelo que o hotel oferece.

Hotel lindo! Incrível, tudo maravilhoso, a equipe super prestativa e simpáticos o tempo todo. Comida boa também e o Safari também é ótimo, podemos ver macacos no café da manhã e veados andando pela propriedade no dia a dia, quando fizemos o Safari vimos quase todos os animais!!! Pena que a piscina do quarto não era aquecida e como fomos no inverno não deu para curtir, mas fora isso recomendação 100%

Wonderful place to be !
They make you feel special. The food is great, you get 3 different choices at every meal. The "games" or safaris are twice a day and the rangers are very professionals. The Spa is marvelous and accommodating to people itineraries. Over all, an extraordinary experience.

Hotel sensacional com grandes suites de 4 comodos!
As acomodacoes sao muito confortaveis e o servico é perfeito. Os funcionarios sao bastante atenciosos e preocupados com a seguranca dos hospedes, uma vez que há circulacao de leoes, bufalos, elefantes, girafas, impalas, zebras, macacos, e outros animais no entorno das suites, pois o lodge fica em terras continuas ao Kruger Park, sem cercas, onde os animais circulam livremente. Há sempre funcionarios para levar e trazer aos quartos. As refeicoes foram perfeitas.

Nous y avons séjourné pour les deux dernières nuits de notre séjour. Le cadre était paisible et intimiste dans un décor contemporain. Le personnel très serviable, nous a accueilli chaleureusement. La chambre était luxueuse, très spacieuse et très bien équipée . La salle de bain au top. Tout était neuf. La nourriture était bonne . La salle de fitness impeccable. Le spa était bien équipé et propre mais la qualité des soins n'était pas à la hauteur des prix pratiqués. Le seul bémol de ce lodge le manque d'animaux, ils n'ont qu'un seul des big 5: les buffles . Les diverses antilopes ne s'approchent pas du lodge contrairement à ce que l'on avait pu voir dans d'autres lodges mais pour nous ce n'était pas vraiment un problème car nous avions déjà vu les big 5 dans d'autres réserves. En excursion nous avons vu des impalas, nyalas, girafes, buffles, coudoux et élans .
