Hi Jordan, We apologize for the pest that showed up in your room. We have regular pest control and do our best to ensure that every room is pest-free, however, it does happen on occasion. I am unable to see your reservation in our system so cannot determine what room you stayed in, so we can have our exterminator treat that room ASAP. Ms April, Thank you for taking the time to leave a candid review of our hotel and Holiday, Florida as a whole. We have no control over the city and other problems you experienced while visiting our area. You may have received towels that have been not treated so nicely by other guests and we apologize for that but, let me assure you, that the towels and linen in the room and in the front lobby are washed and very clean. We have a contracted respected Pest Control company that treats our hotel on a weekly basis and are inspected on a routine basis by the state of Florida the same as every other hotel in Florida. We apologize that our hotel is not up to your standards and we will use your comments to coach our staff.

We understand your disappointment with not being able to extend your stay - we were disappointed that you smoked in the room and left burn marks on the tub so we had to ask you to leave our property.

Thank you for your candid review. Our apologies for the linen issue. Had you let us know you needed linen we would have immediately addressed the issue. Our bathrooms are being renovated as they are original to the build of the hotel. We will check the room for any issues and address your concerns.

Thanks for your review, We have regular pest control, and the room you were in was inspected by a licensed pest control technician. No insect activity was found and we will happily supply you with the inspection report.

Hi, Thank you for your review. Our hotel is more than 50 years old and we are currently working on renovations to our rooms, including paint and furniture upgrades. We have cages on the smoke detectors to deter people from removing the batteries or damaging the smoke detectors in order to smoke in the room ensuring that they are fully functioning each and every time we rent a room to a guest.
