We love Shoreline Towers - have rented here several times. They're undergoing a massive renovation, so if interruption from construction will bug you just wait until it's done. Owners have no control over construction activities and things change constantly, so your unit may be affected in spite of what your owner or the property manager says, and their best intentions. Once renovation is done, there is no reason to stay away from this property. Location is fantastic, beach is lovely, beach rental crew is great, huge pool that is heated year-round. Nothing bad to say about it at all.
This unit in particular is super spacious with tons of windows and a great view. We weren't able to really use the balcony because of construction but it will be awesome when construction is done. View is exactly as pictured online, and the ability to open up the storm doors will be super cool.
Owner was super responsive and helpful with the very few issues we contacted him about. We liked the fact that they stocked the condo with lots of toiletries and bathroom supplies - it was a nice touch.
Only thing that would keep us from renting again, and the reason we took off a star, was the two extra bedrooms had no window treatments. They have floor-to-ceiling windows, so there was way too much light coming in at night for the kids to sleep well. During the day there were constantly construction workers outside their windows so they didn't feel comfortable taking a nap, getting dressed in the rooms, etc. That won't be a problem once construction is done, but the light coming into the rooms would be an issue for those who can't sleep with a lot of light.
Otherwise everything is exactly as pictured and we had everything we needed!
