Fabulous Birthday Celebration!

What a wonderful stay we had at the Chickadee!!! Clean and very well appointed, great amenities and so comfortable!!! My dearest and beat college friend and I were celebrating retirement and a significant birthday and this was a perfect spot to do both! In addition to the lovely accommodations the front porch was a wonderful spot to have our morning coffee and evening libations! 5-10 minute walk to town. Just a super great experience all around! Highly recommend staying at this lovely place!!!

The space was clean, cool, and just as described. We were there on some of the hottest days of the summer and loved coming back to a cool and quiet space. The walk to the downtown business area is short and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future.

The property is beautiful!! We had an amazing time and The Chickadee is everything and more. Not a detail was missed. Very clean and pictures are exact, no false promises. Great couple night stop for family

Super clean and tidy apartment. Thoughtful small things like the beach towels, beach bag and toys were a great touch. The sofa bed worked well for our grade school age kids. Took us about 6-7 minute walk to the edge of the shops and restaurant area. The road does have a decent amount of traffic, but there are sidewalks the entire way into town. Road noise never bothered us in the apartment. We took the chain ferry across the river and hiked up the stairs to Mount Baldhead, great views and fun little hike.

My sister and I stayed here for a weekend trip and had the best time! The property was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean and updated inside. Beautiful and bright all around. Super comfortable couch, beds, etc. and plenty of extra bedding! Perfect location and just a 5 minute walk to downtown Saugatuck. Would love to stay again :-) thank you!

Lovely, convenient Saugatuck stay

This was my first time in Saugatuck, and the chickadee rental was the perfect location and place to stay. The unit has everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed and cozy living room. I always appreciate a kitchen when I travel to allow me to make some meals and go out for others. This unit is in walking distance of the downtown Saugatuck area, making it a very easy way to enjoy the town without fighting for parking. We could even walk down to the Southern, a really great place for a meal and an excellent cocktail. We will definitely be back!!

A night in Saugatuck

The property was very cute, very clean and conveniently located. Easy to access. Private parking right outside the door. Nice amenities. Only downfall is the tenants upstairs were very loudly walking around well past midnight and then had a very very loud fan or sound machine running all night that could be heard throughout the whole apartment.

Lovely place, perfect for a weekend getaway. Everything was very clean, well-kept and the proximity to downtown Saugatuck was ideal. The street noise was a little distracting only occasionally. Just be aware it’s not nestled away deep into a neighborhood. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Get away to Saugatuck

My husband and I stayed at the Chickadee for a short getaway to Saugatuck. The home was very clean and well kept. We loved that the location was a little bit out of town—but only a 10 minute or less walk to downtown . The owner was very responsive when we had a few questions.
