Welkom bij Tequila Sunrise!
Loop dit prachtige huis binnen en je zult nooit meer weg willen. Vanaf het moment dat je aankomt, word je gefascineerd door het spectaculaire uitzicht op het water vanaf beide niveaus en een geheel nieuw decor. Ga op het grote dek zitten en kijk naar de zonsopgang, jachthavenactie aan de overkant of vakantievuurwerk. Geniet van de nieuw aangelegde tuin, loungen, spelletjes spelen of kijken naar het rivierbootverkeer op deze accommodatie aan het water met eigen aanlegsteiger. Minuten van alle attracties, maar toch is het de perfecte plek om er even helemaal tussenuit te zijn.

Het hele huis is volledig binnen en buiten gerenoveerd. Nieuw alles! Het bovenste niveau is een open concept met gewelfde en balkenplafonds. Hier vindt u de ruime master met tv, tweede slaapkamer en complete badkamer met inloopdouche. Geniet van koken in de prachtige keuken met alle nieuwe roestvrijstalen apparaten, kasten, granieten aanrecht en alles wat je nodig hebt om die perfecte maaltijd te bereiden. Er is plaats voor zes aan eettafel en nog vier zitplaatsen aan het aanrecht. Woonkamer is geweldig voor familiespelletjes, een boek lezen of films kijken. Deze kamers kijken uit op een volle muur van glazen deuren die leiden naar het grote terras met uitzicht op een ongelooflijk uitzicht op het water, de stad Saugatuck en de jachthaven.

Fantastisch lager niveau verbouwen werd ook volledig gerenoveerd. Natte bar en full-size roestvrij koelkast en oversized granieten bar / eetkamer met plaats voor acht. Geweldige plek om te eten, spelletjes te spelen of gewoon socialiseren. Open woonkamer met een andere zithoek met tv en extra slaapplaatsen (nieuwe tweepersoons slaapbank). Dit niveau heeft een 3e slaapkamer en een tweede complete badkamer met bad / douche.

De staking met volle wand van glazen deuren biedt meer prachtig uitzicht op het water en leidt naar een fantastisch terras met smeedijzeren patio set (zitplaatsen voor 8), nieuwe gasgrill, dock en tuin.

Gelegen direct aan Lake / River Kalamazoo met een eigen aanlegsteiger kunt u uw boot of kajak over de rivier nemen en deze leidt u rechtstreeks naar Lake Michigan.

Lopen, rijden of rijden naar 'het wereldberoemde Oval Beach' (minder dan 1/2 mijl) of het centrum van Douglas en Saugatuck om te winkelen, restaurants, wijnproeven, kunstgalerijen, bars en boerenmarkt. Slechts een steenworp afstand kunt u lopen naar Mt. Baldhead (beklim de 300+ trappen), het Pumphouse Museum en The Saugatuck Chain Ferry.

Loved the back deck, sat and drank coffee and talked for hours! Weather was gorgeous. We visited Holland and saw thousands of tulips in bloom. We did also go to Oval beach; good hike and did the 300 stairs at Mount Baldhead and whew! We found a beautiful view from the top! Would definitely (and are planning) another trip!!

The house was beautiful and well stocked. I can't think of anything that wasn't available that someone may need. Plenty of toilet paper and even facial tissue, which is often missing from VRBO homes. The views to the lake (on 2 floors) is just amazing, and so calming in the winter months when we were there. It was cold and the purpose of our trip was to celebrate a birthday and retirement, so we didn't have a lot of plans in the town. The house provided us with the perfect place to relax, play games, eat, and enjoy the company. The drive to downtown Saugatuck was quick and we did enjoy a short day of shopping. We also found a trivia game in a bar and had a great time there on a Saturday night. It was a perfect long weekend getaway. We would absolutely love to stay in this house again in the summer to more enjoy what the area has to offer. Annette was responsive, helpful and accommodating with everything. She was a pleasure to work with.

Beautiful place, great location, great little town! Communication with host was incredible. Alot of shops and places to eat. Gorgeous sunset on Oval Beach!! Can walk there but we chose to throw the beach chairs in the car and drive- So Fun!

WE were looking for a place on the water and close to fine restaurants and shops. Tequila Sunrise fulfilled our expectations and more. The house worked perfectly for both us and my sister with the two tiers of balconies and coffee for the morning. The furnishings made the inside as inviting as the outside. And we cannot say enough about the location. We were in walking distance to Mount Baldhead; climbing its 302 steps was great exercise and the view of Lake Michiganat the end made it worth it. Speaking of which, Oval Beach, a short hop from the house, is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world--clear water, soft sand, and quite unpopulated. Adding to our pleasure was a gorgeous full moon over the mirror like waters of Kalamazoo Lake. Finally, our hostess, Annette, could not have been more friendly and accommodating! Every question and need was addressed. We will return to this cheerful and perfectly appointed home on two waters and near the most beautiful lake in the world.

We had the perfect long weekend vacation staying at this beautiful home. The location on the water is a vacation in itself, but you are so close to the beach, the ferry, the famous steps, the root beer shack, and more. It's so easy to get downtown for all Saugatuck has to offer. We so enjoyed the music from downtown lightly wafting over the water to our deck in the early evenings. We even did a quick day trip to Grand Rapids to see Wicked. Annette's recommendations were exactly perfect. She was so helpful and welcoming. The house was spotless and we had everything we needed. Seven adults were more than comfortable in the spacious home. We loved both levels and spent time in both. Upstairs we cooked and dined. Downstairs we snacked and played (perfect game night table!) We made the best memories and when we come back, we would choose to stay here again. It was just perfect!

Fabulous location, spotlessly clean, this house was the perfect way to spend our Mother's Day weekend meeting cousins from Indiana who've never been to Saugatuck. They wanted to see the Holland tulip festival but we knew the blooms were hard to pinpoint an exact date to see, and we thought Saugatuck was a great location that offered a variety of close alternative places to explore. After a short time on Windmill Island, where few tulips were still fresh, we spent the afternoon in Grand Haven before returning to Saugatuck the rest of the weekend. Lots of shopping, eating and great times together in this wonderful house made lasting memories . Highly recommend this wonderful home.

Annette is on top of everything and provides your every need. She provided us this amazing place to stay on the lake and gave us a lot of details and advice about the area. We had a great time drinking coffee starring at God's beauty in the mornings and explored the area in the afternoon. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to stay if you're in the area.

We came to Saugatuck to celebrate my birthday with family. Even in early December it was so enjoyable being able to look at the water and relax. The location was perfect to hike up my baldy and then to oval beach. The owner made several recommendations for dinner which were also excellent and being the off season we were able to get seated. Overall we all agreed this was one of the nicest birthday celebrations we’ve had. We will definitely be back - next time in the summer to enjoy even more that saugatuck has to offer!

My husband and I have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years and this was truly the best experience we have ever had. The house is extremely well appointed with everything you might need, it is gorgeous, so comfortable and the views of the Kalamazoo river can’t be beat. Annette was wonderful in telling us everything we needed to know and being available. Everything was perfect, so we didn’t have any questions or issues, but she was readily available. We will definitely be back!

The views of Kalamazoo Lake over Saugatuck get no better! Beautiful home and furnishings! I was in contact with Annette the host a few times and she responded quickly and efficiently. My family loved and enjoyed both levels of the home and it gave everyone the privacy and space that they needed for eight people to get ready and have fun together over the weekend festivities. We stayed here on our wedding weekend and it was perfect. Even the weather cooperated - upper 70s & sunny in late September. Even though Annette, our host, was not on site, she stayed in close contact during our arrival to ensure that everything went smoothly. Additionally, she was very accommodating to our needs and very quick to respond to questions. The cottage was exactly as presented in the pictures - open spaces, plenty of light, and amazing views of Kalamazoo Lake and the town of Saugatuck. We spent an over an hour in the morning just sitting on the balcony watching the boats flow by. I have only a couple of minor nip-picks. There was no shower soap/body wash in the bathrooms. It wasn't a big deal for us because most in our group had brought their own and I simply picked up a bar of soap from the store for myself. We didn't even bother the host about it. There was also a lack of kleenex - we found just one box in the downstairs bedroom. The other complaint is that I don't like doing laundry or taking out trash when I'm on vacation - part of the checkout process is starting one load of towels and taking the trash out to the bins. I understand that this is common for private rentals like this, but it's just something I'd rather not have to do. However, we really didn't mind in this case because Annette allowed us to check out late even though new guests were coming the same day. In this instance, late checkout was a bigger priority than avoiding a couple of chores.

The house was clean, beautiful and very user-friendly. We loved it. The view was fantastic. Very nice area with lots of walking trails and the beach. Very close. The road is quite narrow and busy. You have to be careful. We did a lot of touring and swimming and enjoyed it a lot. So much to do around there. The music that played at Coral Gables sure made the atmosphere fun. we did pull out the sleeper sofa but the mattress needs to be replaced. The beds are all very comfortable. The the nighttime is quiet and peaceful. We greatly enjoyed our stay. !

This was a lovely property...pictures are very accurate We loved sitting on the deck and watching all the activiy on the lake. Beautiful view of the fireworks on the 4th lf you have toddlers, bring a baby gate or two.
