I booked without breakfast, but arranged at the reception that I could take breakfast. 'Wanted to stay somewhere with a rural charm, and this did not disappoint! Staff very friendly and helpful. We did the half board which offered great value. Proper pub food, reasonably priced and excellent quality. Same can be said about breakfast. Great location to explore the area and walks nearby. 'Our stay was lovely. Lovely cabin, clean and bright. Everything worked. Hostess was responsible and very helpful. The birds singing were just beautiful. We walked miles and miles. Shops not far away at all. Super quiet.

'We could not have asked for a more fantastic place to stay. From arrival and check in, support from staff whilst we were there, location, quirky cabin... Proximity to the hills/ station/ pubs/ canal... Absolutely beautiful. The children loved the waterfall and the cabin itself... A log burner and a sofa to sleep on was a great asset for them. Waking up amongst the trees and being able to feed the ducks 10 meters away. We ate in the village and also had a takeaway... Great choice and fabulous...

We arrive late at night but I had already got the details we needed by text message. Had a dog who settled very well for her 1st night away from home. 'Great stay at the Fairways Inn. Spacious, free, carpark. Friendly staff to greet us. Very comfortable room, fresh and very clean. Lovely bathroom. Food and drink in the pub was reasonable and very tasty. Would definitely recommend a stay here.'

Staff were all really helpful and friendly. We had our evening meal in the hotel, whih was excellent, as was our breakfast the following morning.
