'Hotel was recommended to us and we were not disappointed possibly fortunate to have been offered a larger first floor room in a unique hotel. Once we figured out the bedside lamp switch (ask the staff) our time here went quickly. Location on main street on a warm town event filled weekend but external noise didn't interrupt good night sleep. Breakfast great with add ons and take outs catered for. 'It’s a lovely, quaint place. It was quite remote but that’s just the way we like it. The rooms were immaculate, extremely modern and tastefully decorated. A traditional style wee bar which added to our experience. The food was great: staff were superb being both friendly and attentive. I will return when in the Borders. Ps the locals who were in the pub added to a great atmosphere. Wonderful stay.'

'Excellent fewdays in Hawick. Loads to do in Hawick, places to get food & drink excellent and Saturday's can have a real buzz about town if rugby club win. That said Hawick High Street is a bit tired looking & could do with a bit of money spent o it. It has potential to be an excellent visit venue. The Bank Bank House was top class. Donna (the owner) couldn't be more helpful. Ecellemt location, comfy, stylish & clean. Will be back next time im down in Hawick.'
