Dit gezellige gelijkvloerse vakantiehuis, grenzend aan het huis van de eigenaar, ligt aan de rand van het dorp Caergeiliog en is gunstig gelegen dicht bij de prachtige westkust van Anglesey, waardoor lokale attracties en de stranden gemakkelijk bereikbaar zijn. De accommodatie biedt ook parkeergelegenheid voor boten, zodat gasten op hun gemak kunnen genieten van de omgeving. De Snug wordt omgeven door prachtige tuinen en is een perfecte locatie voor zowel ontspannen wintervakanties als zomerse strandvakanties, met prachtige zandstranden en rotsachtige baaien, waaronder het prachtige strand van Trearddur Bay in de buurt. Anglesey is bezaaid met pre-historische monumenten en de hele kustlijn genoemd als Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Het is ideaal voor vogelaars, wandelaars en fietsers. Er zijn golfbanen in de buurt en het Snowdonia Naional Park, waar voor elk wat wils is. Middeleeuws kasteel Beaurmaris, Plas Newydd National Trust House and Gardens, South Stack Lighthouse en de haven van Holyhead voor dagtochten naar Dublin zijn allemaal in de buurt. Strand 3 mijl. Winkel en pub serveren eten 1 mijl.

Modern, well kept and spotlessly clean. Nice outdoor area with patio furniture. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful, very welcoming. Small village with pub and spa shop within walking distance but along a busy road and couldn’t imagine doing it after dark. All other locations a drive away but include the most beautiful beaches on Anglesey. Saw the majority of the island in three full days and luckily the weather was beautiful. The Snug was perfect for our three night stay.

The Snug was perfect for our three night stay. On arrival we were greeted by Dave who was both very friendly, helpful and informative about the area. We also found inside the property a courtesy bottle of wine and a box of chocolates. We enjoyed them both sitting on the private, sunny patio. Thank you, they were very much appreciated. Internally, The Snug was very clean and well presented and most importantly, extremely comfortable. We were surprised to discover not only a television in the main sitting area but also one in a bedroom. The beds were comfortable as were the sofa and chair in the open plan lounge so it was no hardship at all to sit inside in the evenings. The location itself was easy to find and perfect for getting around the island. We were visiting friends staying at Four Mile Bridge which was not far. We also did a whistle stop tour of Anglesey taking in Beaumaris ( Jolly’s Coffee Shop and Patisserie had an amazing range of cakes) and various other beaches; The South Stack Lighthouse, well worth a visit and finally enjoying the sun on Trearddur Beach. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to book The Snug again in the future to see more of the lovely island. Thank you very much Dave and Debbie. David and Debbie were the perfect hosts, not visible but there for anything you might need. David gave some great advice for places to visit and things to do. The Snug is in a convenient location near the village of Valley which has several shops, pubs and hotels. The area is dog friendly and almost all of the places we visited allow well behaved dogs on their premises. We met the owner on our arrival and he couldn't have been more helpful with advice on places to visit. The Snug is attached to the owners property and although quite small, a lot of thought has gone into making it comfortable.

Great Break and lovely accommodation. The only thing we were a little bit dissapointed with was we couldn't use the main garden grass area, this is the owners garden. But it shouldnt really be advisertised in the photos then if thats the case. But this was not really a major issue as the owners were great and we were out and about 90 % of the time anyways on the lovely beaches around anglesey so we didnt really need it would definately come back

It was wonderful to watch the lambs skipping about from the kitchen window and the bird going in and out of the bird boxes from the sofa.
