Dit prachtig ingerichte appartement met een slaapkamer direct aan de oceaan biedt een geweldig uitzicht op de Stille Oceaan en is centraal gelegen aan de westkant van Maui. Vanaf het Paki Maui Resort bevindt u zich op loopafstand van een supermarkt, Farmer's Market, Fish Market, winkels en vele restaurants ''. U bent slechts een paar kilometer verwijderd van de badplaatsen Kaanapali en Kapalua voor een brede selectie stranden, golfbanen, goede winkels en restaurants.

Het appartement bevindt zich op de 1e verdieping, eenheid # 102. U hoeft zich echter geen zorgen te maken, u kunt nog steeds ontspannen op uw eigen Lanai, omdat deze zich boven de grond bevindt. Je kunt je Lanai-deuren nog steeds open laten staan om de tropische passaatwinden te voelen, samen met een ongelooflijk uitzicht op de eilanden Moloka'i en Lana'i en laten we onze adembenemende Hawaiiaanse zonsondergangen niet vergeten, die een blijvende herinnering zullen zijn. Als uw reizen u van half december tot april naar Maui brengen, wordt u getrakteerd op de magische ervaring bij het kijken naar de migratie van de ongelooflijke bultruggen naar de warme wateren van Maui. Bekijk deze 'zachtaardige reuzen' in het kanaal vanuit je Lanai of boek een reis op een lokale boot om walvissen te spotten waar waarnemingen van walvissen praktisch gegarandeerd zijn gedurende deze periode. Het hele jaar door zijn er peulen van spinnerdolfijnen en gigantische groene zeeschildpadden te zien. Af en toe zie je een monniksrob die langskomen voor rust in de nabije gebieden.

Dit is een zeer comfortabele eenheid met één slaapkamer, waar u zich naar hartenlust kunt uitleven op dit comfortabele kingsize bed. Het voetbed biedt verschillende mooie met ceder beklede laden eronder voor uw gevouwen kleding. De unit heeft prachtige stenen vloeren met aantrekkelijke aanrechtbladen van koffiebosgroen marmer. De badkamer heeft een mooie grote douche met een glazen schuifdeur en de wastafel / ijdelheid is gescheiden van de douche / toiletruimte. Het meubilair is allemaal uitstekend en comfortabel, we weten zeker dat u zich meteen thuis zult voelen! De volledig functionele keuken is gevuld met keukengerei, servies en kookgerei. Het apparaat zelf biedt geen wasmachine en droger, maar er zijn muntautomaten wasmachine en drogers bij de liften op de 2e, 3e en 4e verdieping. Het apparaat biedt gratis wifi, basiskabel en een eenvoudige "starter" set keuken- en badbenodigdheden.

Het tropische terrein van Paki Maui omvat een rustige koivijver en een waterval die u begroeten bij uw toegangsdeur. De oceaan voorkant van het appartement / Lanai heeft een grasveld van ongeveer 30 voet tussen u en de oceaan. Het is gewoon perfect om te zonnebaden met ligstoelen en tafels om u te helpen ontspannen. Vanuit het grasveld zijn er 5 of 6 treden die u naar beschermd water leiden - ideaal om te snorkelen en zwemmen. Tijdens je snorkelervaring zie je de prachtige Giant Sea Turtles, en veel tropische vissen en kleurrijk koraal. De voorzieningen van het resort zijn onder andere een omheind verwarmd zwembad en een jacuzzi omgeven door ligstoelen, met prachtige Hawaiiaanse bloemen en planten. U kunt ervoor kiezen om uw maaltijden te barbecueën op de twee gasbarbecues in het zwembad / cabana-gebied of de nieuwe op het grasveld te gebruiken (niet omheind). U kunt genieten van uw maaltijden op uw eigen oceaan Lanai of de oceaan kant gazon is de "ontmoetingsplaats" waar u kunt ontmoeten en genieten van het chatten met enkele van de andere gasten. Dit is een geweldige locatie voor een romantisch uitje of voor een leuke familievakantie!

Great stay

Paki Maui, and especially the ocean front unit we stayed in, exceeded our expectations. The unit is clean & tidy as well as the property well kept alongaide the beautiful view with opportunity to lounge out on the grass at the beach. Communication with thw host was swift and easy. We will be back!

Needs furniture update. Lumpy uncomfortable couch, rusted rickety patio chair was wobbly. Only 1 lamp in living room and it didn't work consistently. Had to unplug it to get it to turn off, then couldn't get it to turn on once we plugged it in. Living room TV did not work consistently, No instructions on how to operate TV. Would not stay there again unless these issues were addressed. Best piece of furniture was king bed.

The check in was just a little bumpy due to Sunday check in. Bree was quickly available via phone and gave instructions and directions to the unit. It was just as pictured—very clean and well appointed. Lots of kitchen equipment. On site laundry available was a plus. The beach is really nice. We watched turtles there daily!

First trip to Maui

The amenities were great. The view was amazing! Condo was well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. It had great space. Landscaping was beautiful and welcoming. We enjoyed the water toys and saw plenty of wildlife from the lanai. Overall, very comfortable and made our first stay in Maui that much more memorable.

Amazing Ocean-front View from Spacious Balcony

This is an older condo with older furniture and amenities but nicely kept. We enjoyed our 10 day stay. Fish Market across the street with fresh caught fish daily. Food truck court just down the street was fun. Other small eateries and coffee shops within walking distance. Grass area with beach chairs/lounges with the waves pounding the wall in front of you. The unit's location to beachfront is hard to beat. However, here are some observations about the condo. The photographer did an amazing job of making the unit look twice the size it actually is. Balcony and living areas are comfortable and spacious compared to the rest of the unit. Bathroom area with shower is small but adequate for two people, not more. Kitchen is very small but has a full size range and microwave. No oven, but we didn't go there to make Thanksgiving dinner! Small toaster oven is provided but would not fit even a small pizza. Cooking utensils were minimal. Not many drinking glasses, especially plastic ones for the beach. Bedroom featured a king-size captain's bed that filled the room. If you are shorter than 6 feet tall or have trouble climbing and jumping you might have trouble getting into the bed. My wife is 5 feet tall and I had to pull her into bed each night. It is comfortable once you are in it, but hard to get into. Very little room to move around the bed. We had to move a couple of items out of the room to make it easier to get around the bed. Closet is adequate size with hangers and shelves, and the captain's bed has large drawers that pull out for storing items, but they are hard to access because of how close the bed is to the walls. Laundry facilities were easy to use and located on all levels except the first level. Getting to the small beach in front of the break wall was difficult due to damaged stairways on both ends of the property. The damage, likely from storms, is bad enough that the stairs are fenced off. Access to the beach is by climbing down the 4-5 foot wall made of lava rock, not something everyone will be able to do. A short walk north along the street takes you to a nice public access beach where you can spend the day or just walk back through the tidepools to the front of the Paki Maui property. Pool area was nicely outfitted with gas grills. Spa was warm and comfortable. Pool is not heated so it was not comfortable to be in (we visited in January) unless you are from Minnesota, in which case you would probably love it! Several maintenance items had been overlooked and we hope they are repaired for the next visitor (all reported to property manager). Bathroom sink drained painfully slow. Kitchen faucet was wobbly and not properly attached to the counter top. Microwave control buttons for lights/fan were loose and hard to operate. Towel rack inside shower had been previously broken and poorly repaired requiring us to continually put it back in place. Again, overall we enjoyed ou stay at Paki Maui but found the attention to detail for a property priced at this level to be lacking. Next visit we would choose a different property. We hope this helps those considering this unit.

Fantastic view, property a little long in the tooth

Lot's of positives but the property is a little older and a bit more worn than the pictures might indicate. View/location is spectacular. We saw a turtle or two nibbling plants on the rocks, surfers in the distance, whales in the distance as well. Condo looks out over a channel between Maui and other islands and the water was relatively calm throughout. Listening to the ocean at night and in the morning, having breakfast or coffee looking out across the water, very nice. We were able to venture out to all the highlights easily. Bed was comfortable but is high off the ground. Would be a challenge for some, possibly. Bedroom is tight (not an issue for us) and sits on the outside hallway. You likely want the jealousy windows open to cool and it can be a little odd with any traffic outside. That said, the complex wasn't noisy and we appreciated the quantity of fans available. Hair in shower drain, bathroom and kitchen spouts are very loose. High-use condos, especially those on the ocean can be hard to keep from being worn. Not a ton of space but you're paying a reasonable price and if you're largely using it as a base of operations, the view, location and utility of the space are fine. Condo complex and condo itself were largely "adequate", I'd say. Not a big deal for us as we largely used it as a base of operations. Kitchen had everything needed and then some. Location, check-in/out process very good. The view from the balcony really, really peaceful.

The property is exactly as advertised. The view from the lanai is incredible. Falling asleep every night to the sound of the ocean waves was so peaceful. Have stayed at many units in Paul Maui over the years. This one is just like many of the rest. Nice accommodations but not fancy or pretentious. Older building but they do a good job keeping things up. Best sunset spot around and a very quiet and relaxing lawn area. We will be back!

The condo was great with the location being the key factor. Paki Maui is close to everything you need, with excellent swimming location, ABC within easy walking distance for those last minute items, and near great restaurants and downtown Lahaina/Front Street. The bedroom is a bit small with no room for a dresser, but they did have a bed with drawers in the platform. Overall a great unit.

Wonderful Ocean Front Condo

We loved our week here. You are right on the water. Every morning we would watch whales breaching from the lanai and often see turtles in the water right in front of the condo. The condo is well stocked and the bed was comfortable. Two suggestions would take it over the top. 1. Update the furniture it's pretty beat up. 2. Put in precious l privacy shutters in the back bedroom window like other units have. Theres only a flimsy curtain so if you want good air flow you have to pull the curtain back which takes all privacy away. You need food air flow because there's no AC. We would stay here again. You cannot best the view.

Nostalgic Hawaiian Gem

This raised first floor condo is in the perfect spot for enjoying the area. It is not luxurious, but very clean, and totally my vibe. The kitchen had everything one needs for cooking. The shower was good, and the bed very comfortable. The bed is high but that’s because there are multiple drawers beneath the mattress for all your clothes. The closet was roomy and has a safe. The lanai is the highlight. It is oceanfront and we swam everyday right in front of the condo. The barbecue area by the pool is big and there is a good jacuzzi by the pool. We never used the pool, because the ocean is right there. We did rinse off by the pool though. Across the street in both directions are great places to get food. We especially loved the Fish Market. There is a health food grocery store to the left, and the ABC store to the right. I draped colorful Hawaiian saris over the couch, and dining table and coffee table to make the place homey and to protect the furniture. I could have stayed for a month. Whales were seen everyday from the lanai. They breached, tail slapped and fin slapped. Turtles came in to eat off the rocks. There is a laundry room downstairs for guests and a manager on premises. There is no air conditioning, but we never needed it. The French doors stayed open, and the fans on kept us cool. We will be back to this treasure of a place.

Whale watching in Maui

We had an absolutely amazing week staying here. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We stayed in the last week of January so we were able to watch whales right from our balcony every day. No AC in the unit, but when we were at “home” we keep the doors open and screens closed and let the ocean breezes come though which made it very comfortable. We had another couple stay in a different unit in the building behind us and we had plenty of room (and chairs) to gather our in our room to whale watch and eat dinners. We used the grills out by the pool twice-very clean and cooked our food perfectly. We also swam in the pool and Jacuzzi once and spent time snorkeling and walking on the beach. All in all a wonderful week. Would definitely stay here again.
