Dit charmante, vernieuwde studio-appartement in het "Diamond Head Beach Hotel" is perfect gelegen aan de "Gold Coast" tussen Waikiki en Diamond Head. Kom kijken waarom mensen het hier zo leuk vinden. Het is een rustige oase op de oceaan, met grote open ruimtes waar je de golven kunt horen, en je bent slechts een korte wandeling van Waikiki.

Ons appartement ligt op de 8e verdieping, Mauka (berg) kant, en heeft een eigen Lanai die zich uitstrekt tot het einde van het gebouw met zowel een uitzicht op de oceaan, en een panoramisch uitzicht op Kapiolani Park en Diamond Head.

Het hotel beschikt over een privétuin aan de oceaanzijde met ligstoelen, tafels en een buitendouche om af te spoelen na het zwemmen in de oceaan.

Het hotel ligt op een ideale locatie, op slechts 2 gebouwen naast de Elks Club en de Outrigger Canoe Club. Aan de overkant is de fontein en de grote open groene ruimtes van Kapiolani Park. Het is ook een zeer korte wandeling naar het Waikiki Aquarium, de Honolulu Zoo, de Waikiki Shell (voor avondconcerten in de buitenlucht), tennisbanen, ambachtelijke beurzen en nog veel meer!

Je kunt rond Diamond Head lopen en het landschap op verschillende vergezichten bewonderen en onderweg stoppen bij enkele van de restaurants en winkels. Of bekijk de surfers vanaf de "Diamond Head Wall" met een adembenemend uitzicht op enkele van de meest populaire surfspots in Hawaii.

Voor tennisliefhebbers zijn er tal van openbare rechtbanken in Kapiolani Park, op slechts een korte loopafstand van het hotel.

Couldn’t have been a better location. We don’t like being in the thick of Waikiki, and this was within walking distance when we needed to go there, and handy to get to the highway when you want to explore. Large lanai for viewing the ocean, Diamondhead and Kapi’olani Park. We saw some of the most amazing sunsets ever! Mark was the best to work with, communicating in the booking process, sending us info previous to our arriving and checking with us when we arrived to make sure everything was alright. He answered the phone right away when we had a question, which hasn’t always been our experience with other rentals. Great communication!

Lovely studio

I come to Oahu often and like to try out different areas. This was my first stay on the Gold Coast, and it didn’t disappoint. The efficient little studio is in a great location, with well-stocked kitchenette, on-site parking and laundry for a fee, and partial ocean views on each side. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced, minimal frills option to a hotel, this is a tidy spot with a laidback beach vibe.

We stayed five nights and our stay was great. We appreciated the nice bedding and towels, and everything else that was provided. We were able to find free on-street parking one day, and otherwise meter parking, which was no problem. Safe, walkable neighborhood.

Charming quiet apartment

A comfortable affordable little bungalow right at the foot of Diamond Head. Great location for views of the beaches and mountains without being right in the crowds of Waikiki. Our only issue was that we couldn’t get in the water due mostly to our age. Perfect place for those under 65.

A True Diamond

The Diamond Head Beach property was a wonderful place to stay! It was roomy with plenty of places to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views of both Diamond Head and the ocean including a private lanai. This studio is very clean and well kept. The host, Mark was easy to contact, responsive and very pleasant! I've now found my go-to place. One piece of advice is it might be worth paying to park as there were times available parking was very far away, especially on the weekend.

Great stay in Oahu!

We had a great time at Diamond Head Beach. Great views from the balcony and the property patio area. The traffic was a little noisy at times, but nothing excessive - Waikiki is a busy place! We appreciated the toaster, hot plate, and coffee maker for light breakfast prep. I highly recommend this property if staying in Honolulu for a few days.

Oceanfront bliss

This has been our favorite stay near Waikiki. We come yearly to visit our daughter in college. Love that it is away from all the main drag activities but still close enough to walk to all the shops etc. Loved the grassy sitting area in front of the complex. We could have stared at the waves coming in for hours. So relaxing listening to the pounding surf. The condo was exactly as promised, everything we needed for our stay.

Great neighborhood!

Loved this condo and the quiet neighborhood. Walking distance from shops and restaurants on Waikiki Beach. You can see the sun rise over Diamondhead in the morning and watch the sunset from the balcony in the evening. Condo owner gave great instructions for location and checking in. Condo was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for 1-2 people, without kids

The condo is the size of a nice hotel room, and perfect if traveling solo or with one person. There is a window unit for air conditioning but it’s not always needed when the weather is nice, plus it’s kinda loud when in use. From the bed, you have ocean views to the left and right. Huge personal lanai with outdoor lounge bed and high top table. Metered parking is easy across the street and free after 6pm. Never paid more than a few dollars for parking. There is no beach access from the building but there is a drop off to the water near where the Diamond Head surfers gather every morning. Waikiki beach is always busy and just a few blocks away. The area around the building felt safe and clean. There is also an elevator and bellhop cart to help with your luggage. I stayed with my daughter for 6 nights and had no issues. Would definitely stay again. Thanks, Mark!
