Gelegen op een heuvel met uitzicht op Honolulu en de majestueuze Diamond Head-krater, biedt deze twee slaapkamers, twee en een half bad plus bonus slaapruimte in Manoa Valley prachtige aangepaste details en een grote veranda die perfect is voor een barbecue.

Aangepast glas in lood en teak accenten zorgen voor een uniek stijlvol interieur in oude Hawaii-stijl. Een overdekt bubbelbad draagt bij aan de ontspannen sfeer. Hardhouten vloeren leiden naar crèmekleurige tapijten in de woonkamer, ingericht met een love-seat en extra grote fauteuil. Extra meubels zijn een teakhouten bureau en een 30-inch tv, ideaal voor filmavonden na een dag ronddwalen in de buurt van de kliffen van Makiki-Manoa.

Een tropisch tafereel in gebrandschilderd glas hangt boven de overdekte hot tub - duik in en geniet van het uitzicht op Diamond Head. Geniet van uw avonden op de Lanai met een eettafel voor zes personen en een houtskoolgrill.

Roestvrijstalen apparaten en granieten toonbanken in de goed uitgeruste keuken. Originele kasten laten vitrines zien en een werkende antieke telefoon hangt aan de muur. De verhoogde formele eetkamer heeft een tafel voor zes personen onder een klassieke kroonluchter. Op maat gemaakte gebrandschilderde landschappen en zeegezichten sieren de muren.

Deze verhuur heeft een woonkamer met een king-size Hawaiiaans ligbed en een 38 "TV. Er is ook een slaapkamer met een queensize bed, 32-inch tv en een eigen badkamer met een dubbele wastafel, een ligbad en een aparte inloopdouche.

Nog een slaapkamer is perfect voor de kinderen met een dubbele stapelbed, een 26-inch tv en een eigen badkamer met een wastafel op voetstuk en een inloopdouche. Een handige halve badkamer is beschikbaar.

Dit huisdiervriendelijke huis biedt kinderboeken, een kinderwagen, strandspullen en een pakje. Extra's zijn gratis Wi-Fi, kabel-tv, centrale AC en een wasmachine / droger. Een parkeerplaats wordt aangeboden op de oprit. Extra parkeren kan ook beschikbaar zijn op straat op basis van wie het eerst komt, het eerst maalt.

Manoa Valley ligt dicht bij adembenemende wandelpaden en talloze smakelijke cafés. Liever uw dag doorbrengen met ontspannen of spelen op het strand? Magic Island ligt op slechts 2,5 km van uw deur en het strand van Kaimana ligt ook op 3 km afstand. De indrukwekkende internationale kunstcollectie van Honolulu Museum of Art biedt een stimulerende middag op slechts 5 minuten rijden met de auto.

Great private duplex in Manoa

The duplex was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. It's an older home with character. We enjoyed our stay. Nice to be out of the noise and traffic of Waikiki.

We would stay here again! We moved our daughter into Manoa and it was super convenient. We could walk to Manoa if we wanted to. It was a charming neighborhood and very quiet. The only issue was parking for our van. The street is a little tight. Otherwise, we had great communication with the manager. This is a historical house, also! (Does have stairs, so be mindful for seniors!)

Great neighborhood spot

This cozy spot was perfect when moving my daughter into college. We didn't want to stay in Waikiki and this was perfect. Communication was easy with Amanda. The unit was clean and location was perfect.

The house was spotless and very comfortable! We had a problem with the coffee maker, but Amanda immediately handled it with no problems! She was readily available, helpful, and efficient! The only drawback would be the main bedroom, but it did not ruin our stay. The air conditioner helped cool the room, but it is quite loud and right next to the bed. I think it is an unfortunate necessity. The other bedroom delighted my adult daughter. She was quite comfortable and made a little nest. That said, getting to the bed is extremely difficult because it is high off the ground. It may be tricky for older people. The lanai was incredible and we spent most of our time there. We walked into Manoa most days, and really loved being in a neighborhood off the beaten track!

Perfect stay

The home was neat, cozy, comfortable, and provided everything we needed (mostly in the kitchen and TV-related). It was in a quiet neighborhood convenient to everything we wanted to see and do nearby. Home away from home

Perfect place to stay with family, especially if you have littles. Unit was clean and just as described and communication with property manager was easy, quick, and reliable. Only downside is if the upper unit is also being occupied during your stay-the main bedroom, below the staircase can hear everything.

Excellent Neighborhood With Manoa Falls Close By

We enjoyed staying at the Manoa property especially being in the Manoa Valley neighborhood and visiting the Manoa Marketplace throughout our visit. It's an extremely safe neighborhood. We did the Manoa Falls hike too which was close by and a beautiful hike. Amanda was very helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen sink was not getting hot water for a few of our meals though Amanda reset the water heater and it should have worked after that (we didn't cook a lot after it was turned back on though). If you want to get to know the Manoa Valley or need to be close to UH this would be a good place to try out.

Hawaiian wedding and birthday vacay

Overall, the property was as promised - the basement of a house in a lovely residential area with a lanai that has ample seating (we lived out there!), two bedrooms, 1 bath, small kitchen. My only complaints are that is was a bit quirky and dated (which was somewhat expected from the pictures), but the biggest problem was that the mattress in the main bedroom was so soft and caved in that only the youngest member of our party was comfortable sleeping there, so one of us had to sleep on the couch the entire 10 days.

Beautiful bottom unit of a duplex on a quiet side street in Manoa. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice lanai with a view of diamond head. Newer washer/dryer. Assigned parking in driveway. There were a/c units, but we never needed to use them; fans were enough.

Pros: Great location. Pleasant sitting areas. kitchen has what you need. Parking tight but okay. Property management folks pleasant and professional. Cons: Bedroom is stuffy with poor ventilation. Bed is mushy and clammy, with plastic cover and synthetic poor-fitting sheets. There’s an AC, but it’s loud. The trade breeze blowing through the bedroom would’ve been nice! The step down from bedroom to bath needs a nightlight. No house guide regarding WiFi, trash pickup, TV operation info.

Nice clean unit

We were in the lower (“B”) unit, which looked to be a basement apartment. It was clean with a good sized lanai. As a lower level unit, much of what could have been a great fives of Diamond Head was blocked by trees. A possible issue might be all of the stairs. You walk down 10-12 stairs to reach the entrance and in the unit you go up three stairs to reach the main bedroom, walk down one stairs to access the living/dining room and climb up two concrete ledges to access the bed in the second bedroom. This could be an issue if you have mobility issues or have young children. The kitchen is clearly an add on and while functional does not have a dishwasher. Unlike other VRBO units we stayed in, there was no soap or welcome amenity basket (starter coffee, etc.) so be prepared to go grocery shopping as soon as you arrive. Parking can be tight as the street is very narrow. If you rent a car, I would stick with a sedan or smaller SUV. Vans or larger SUVs probably won’t fit. The management company is first rate and Amanda was great. Manoa is a nice area to stay, with many delicious restaurants in the area and close proximity to most attractions. If I could rent the upper unit, I would definitely stay at this residence again and would consider staying at properties managed by Amanda and he office.

However, it has some needs: many steps and no handrail to grip going down to entrance; step to lanai is same color as decking and an easy trip hazard; no instructions on how to operate TVs; many VRBO units have more kitchen/cooking supplies that this unit; lighting in closet was not working properlyl and most doors did not close well - e.g. it was difficult on the entry door to punch in the code correctly. While this unit has considerable general maintenance needs, it is still a good property for anyone who is comfortable with many steps - some not so obvious. Perhaps the upstairs unit is a better choice.

I went on morning runs to the Makiki valley trails, it was beautiful. When we were driving up to the house, we were trying to capture a picture of the rainbow that was resting on top of Manoa Valley. We couldn't get an unobstructed pic, but were happy to have it welcoming us. When we arrived at the home and went out to the lanai, we could see the entirety of the rainbow spread out over the valley.The home was very clean and comfortable and we would absolutely stay here again.
