  • Dit nieuw gebouwde huis ligt midden in het historische centrum van Hope Town! Met de haven voor de deur en de oceaan in je achtertuin, wat wil je nog meer?
    De gezellige woonkamer is comfortabel ingericht voor die dagen dat u er niet uit kunt komen. De fantastische keuken met granieten aanrechtbladen, gasfornuis en blender voor die margaritas maakt een maaltijd thuis meer dan plezierig! Er is een half bad off van de woonkamer. Je hebt ook je veranda om de wereld voorbij zien gaan of een meer prive-terras achterom.
    Boven vindt u de logeerkamer met een queensize bed en een ligbed. De master heeft een queensize bed en een zithoek met tv en een eigen balkon met uitzicht op de oceaan. Er is een gedeelde badkamer tussen de twee slaapkamers.

    *** Vanaf 20 november 2018 is er een generator beschikbaar in deze accommodatie.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our visit to Hope Town, Opal's Cottage was our third visit. did not disappoint. The home is in a perfect location within the Settlement. It was an easy walk to Jack's Restaurant and Liquor Store, Vernon's Grocery, Ebb Tide Gift Shop and anything located within the Settlement. It is located steps away from the Beach Access and access to the harbor boat docks and golf cart parking. The management was welcoming and very helpful throughout the trip. We will continue to stay here on repeat trips to the island.

Convenient to everything in the Settlement. Extra ordinarily clean and fully stocked for all your needs. We held a Dinner Party for 8! Not that we expected anything less than perfectly adequate based on the description and pictures, but upon first arriving we were struck with the quality of construction, finishes, appliances, and decor. My wife and I immediately fell in love with the cottage and it provided inspiration for our future retirement home. While I have been to Abaco before, this was my wife's first trip and she loved everything about it, including the location of the cottage in the middle of Hope Town. The people were friendly and the beauty of the settlement as well as Elbow Cay and surrounding cays made for an ideal vacation.

It's clean and cozy and both beds are very comfy!! The front bedroom has a view of the bay, lighthouse and pretty boats. The back bedroom has a deck with a breathtaking view of the most beautiful ocean; really amazing! Its a win win. We loved it both times.

A Great Stay at Opal's Cottage

There were twelve other family members staying at other Hope Town properties. Opal's Cottage was absolutely the nicest of those properties. It was everything we expected from the on-line description. The apparent recent updates were a welcome surprise and impressed everyone in our party. The location was perfect - such close proximity to the center of Hope Town and the Upper Dock. The front porch was awesome. We spent hours enjoying the porch with each other and passers-by. When we wanted a bit more privacy or more breeze we shifted to the back patio and deck - perfect! We had a beautiful views of the ocean from the deck and up the slight hill in the backyard, as well as views of the lighthouse from a number of vantage points inside and out. The property representatives were professional and all of the other locals we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. We had not rented via a similar service before, and were a bit apprehensive, but it couldn't have been better; five stars across the board. Take advantage! You will surely enjoy.
