'Lovely hotel, quiet, staff were very helpful and welcoming. Food in the pub was very good and reasonably priced, lots of choice. Breakfast was so good.'

'Perfect location, but rooms desperately need renovation. No safety deposit, no refrigerator and nowhere to charge your phone, laptop etc.near beds. Only one power outlet on the other side of the room. Very good breakfast but only 1 coffee machine! Staff extremely helpful and friendly!'

De reden dat ik geen vijf sterren gaf, is omdat ik een kamer had geboekt met een groot bed, maar ik kreeg een kamer met twee bedden. Bovendien was de bureaustoel doorgezakt, wat het lastig maakte om met mijn laptop te werken '

'Pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the wines glasses! The breakfast was perfectly adequate and the shared kitchen clean and pleasant to sit in. We paid for carpark and were allowed to leave car the next for a visit of the city. A nice 20 minutes walk along the canal. Host very prompt and polite by text once we had booked. 'The breakfast was good but, need to be hotter. Staffs were excellent, good quality service. We did not experience any evening meals unfortunately, we arrived Sunday and stays till Wednesday morning. 'Nice big room well heated and nice hot water. Could have done with 2 comfy chairs in the room as it was quite big plus a bigger coffee table, other than these ideas we would book this room again as we have have done before.'

I have to say a great big thank you to the chefs who really took care of my dietary needs with real kindness.
