Een afgelegen, landelijk en knus huis, geschikt voor maximaal 8 personen. Ga op het terras zitten, geniet van uw koffie terwijl u naar de waterval kijkt en luister naar de geluiden van het water dat voorbij komt. Creek loopt over eigendom en recht onder de 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers volledig ingericht huis. Gelegen in een veilige omheinde resortgemeenschap, maar het voelt alsof u zich afgelegen in het bos bevindt, aangezien het eigendom ligt aan het Lake Catherine State Park. ALSTUBLIEFT boek een aanbieding voor het totaal van alle gasten zodat het juiste aantal benodigdheden beschikbaar is voor uw hele feest. GELIEVE deze accommodatie niet te reserveren als u MEER DAN 8 in uw feest hebt. Watervalactiviteit en kreekniveaus kunnen variëren als gevolg van recente weeractiviteiten.

We hebben aan alles gedacht wat u nodig heeft om uw verblijf zorgeloos te maken. Potten, pannen, linnengoed etc. alles wat u nodig heeft voor een aangenaam verblijf. Vuurplaats voor s'mores en hotdogs of de traditionele propaangrill. Breng uw favoriete gerechten ter voorbereiding op de camping of bezoek veel van de nabijgelegen lokale restaurants. Ideale verhuur voor het gehele Oaklawn Racing-seizoen!

Lokale en nabijgelegen activiteiten. Op slechts een steenworp afstand van Lake Catherine, dat begint net onder Carpenter Dam, de dam die Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, AR maakt. Lake Catherine is 11 mijl lang en Plum Hollow is gelegen in de schilderachtige gemeenschap van Diamondhead, die is gelegen in het centrum van de 11 mijl lang. Vissen voor Striper, Walleye, Crappie of Catfish of neem gewoon een serene boottocht. Diamondhead heeft een golfbaan met 18 holes, een PGA-rating en een jachthaven om uw boot aan te meren. Unique location

Our first taste of the Ozark Mountains was in this lovely wooded property. The house is built over a stream with gentle sounds of flowing water. Very relaxing!S’mores were an added touch!

Wonderful Trip

Our family was able to get away and slow down for a bit, which is just what we needed. This place is beautiful, and the sound of the creek is so relaxing. The kids had fun playing in the creek, and we went to Lake Catherine State Park to play and fish. The beds were comfortable, and the house had just about everything we needed. The s'mores kit was a nice surprise, even though we couldn't have a fire due to the burn ban. The kids just made microwave s'mores. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area!

Great Spring Break Stay

Had a really great time with our friends and family here. The kids had a lot of fun playing in and around the creek and exploring the property behind the house. The house was in great shape, everything was well stocked and things were labeled and easy to find. We had a couple nights at the fire pit, plenty of firewood was provided, and even a s'mores kit. Good location, fairly short drive from Hot springs itself. Nice community around the house. Definitely would recommend or use for a future stay.

Very serene

We had a great stay. The property is very serene. Just be aware of driving down into the driveway and back up. Its very steep so have an experienced driver do it. We are from a very flat area so I wouldn't have felt comfortable doing it, but my husband did. Neighborhood has a ton of deer and it was fun to spot them driving in and out. Master bed was very comfortable.

We had a wonderful time at the house and in Hot Springs. The house was just as described and it was so peaceful sitting outside at night. The only issue we had was with the AC. We set it at a certain temp and when we returned to the house, it was 80+ degrees. I would recommend the house and the location. We had deer and racoon visitors daily.

We really enjoyed out stay here. The owners responded to every question very quickly. We loved the house and yard. The fire pit was great and we used it several times. The house had everything we needed and was really clean upon arrival. While the driveway is steep I was able to drive my full size truck down it and was able to back up enough to drive back up it. We saw lots of deer while driving around the neighborhood.

Perfect "woodsy" retreat!

Our five-night stay with daughter and two grand kids was a wonderful vacation retreat. The house in the woods was perfect; fully stocked and equipped, just as advertised. We had one big rainstorm which turned the little creek running under the house into a true bubbling brook. The kids absolutely loved it! Our hosts, Wendi and Randy, were very responsive to a couple of questions we had, and we were extremely pleased with this VRBO rental. We also enjoyed nearby horseback riding, swimming at Lake Catherine beach, and several attractions in Hot Springs. The Mid-America Science Museum was amazing for the kids (and adults). We would recommend this VRBO home to anyone seeking a quiet “woodsy” retreat with only two caveats: First, while internet WIFI was reliable, the data speeds might not have worked well for us if we had needed applications requiring a high-speed connection. Second, the house level is two flights of stairs down from street level, and the creek and fire pit are another flight of steps down. If anyone in your party is unable to navigate stairs, this property may not be the best choice. A parking space is available on street level, and for the adventurous there is an off-street parking pad halfway down to the house level, reached via a steeply inclined drive. We used the off-street pad without incident with a full-size SUV, but with a “spotter” to be extra careful. Overall: Five stars without reservation, for a terrific family retreat. Family getaway

We came with my parents, my sister and her hubby, myself and 3 kids. The kids loved the creek and looking for cool rocks. My son found tadpoles and crawfish. It is really close to the lake and a cool walking trail with a waterfall. My kids loved both. There is a dollar store right around the corner if you forget anything snd Hot Springs is a short drive away. Everything was available for our needs for making meals & feeling at home and there was enough space for everyone. The deck is great and shaded for hanging outside and enjoying nature. We had a raccoon friend come visit a couple nights. The driveway in is a little tricky if you have mobility issues. It is very steep coming down to the house from the road. But we were able to navigate it fairly well. My parents are in their 70’s and it was a little bit of a challenge for them.

Beautiful Location for a Peaceful Stay!

Four adults and two kids stayed here for a summer getaway and really enjoyed the house. The creek running under the house is gorgeous, and — even though we were there on a really hot week — the house is situated in a valley with so many shade trees that we were still able to enjoy being outside. The proximity to Lake Catherine State Park is fantastic, and we really enjoyed the waterfall hike and swimming in the lake. The house was well-stocked with cookware and towels. There is ample seating both indoors and out, and the grill outside was a great addition. Our only complaint about the cleanliness is that the bathtub needs some plumbing attention. It drains so slowly that we had a hard time timing showers between people — and with that creek and all that outdoors time, it was sometimes frustrating to have to wait so long to take a shower. We also were a bit disappointed to find that the community pool wasn't open despite it being mid-June. This is of course not on the property owners, but since it was listed as one of the amenities, we came expecting to be able to swim. We couldn't find any information about it, so I don't know if this was a one-time maintenance issue or a larger problem. I'd just recommend getting clarification before booking if you're planning to use the pool!

A nice little getaway weekend!

This beautiful and interesting house has amazingly beautiful views! There is a creek that literally runs under the house and makes for some amazing scenery and relaxation. The house has (almost) everything you’ll need. It was clean, the fridge was cold, washer and dryer work well, and they left us a nice little “s’more” surprise. We felt safe here. We would have liked to have had a few bottles of water in the fridge, and some shampoo/conditioner to use. The kitchen was stocked with essentials and there was also a Keurig machine, but you’ll have to bring your own pods. We would have liked a few samples left for us. The owners were very responsive to the couple questions we had and responded right away. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Thank You!!

House is nothing special, but the location makes up for it!

My family of six had the best time relaxing and getting out in nature in Hot Springs. My husband was there on a business trip, so I took the kids and joined him for the week. I chose this house because it is literally on a creek, which was so fun for the kids to play in. Since I was alone for some of the time I appreciated being in a gated community. The house itself is nothing special, but we didn’t mind, because most of our time was spent outside. Be sure to visit Lake Catherine State Park down the road for some more beauty in nature! My only complaint is that the house didn’t have some common cooking supplies, but we worked around it. I recognize that as a food blogger and private chef I cook more than the average person, however, there were still some basic kitchen utensils (a potato peeler, strainer/colander, and a good pair of kitchen shears) that were lacking in this home. I also would’ve liked to see liners in the bathroom trash cans, but we made it work with recycled grocery bags. I can’t stress enough that the view is absolutely incredible. The creek and all of the beautiful foliage make this house worth a visit! It would be nice to see the owners put some money and effort into making the interior space more modern, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I found that it actually is much better in person than the low quality, unprofessional pictures show on VRBO. We will be coming back if life brings us back to the area!

Perfect Girls Getaway

This cabin was more than we expected from the hot chocolate treats left for us by owners to the peaceful creek, literally running under the cabin. So much to do in the area. Don’t forget to check out Falls Creek falls but if you are looking for the shortest route, go left. Lesson learned. We will definitely be returning to this cabin in the future

Ultimate Relaxation

From the instant we walked in the door, everyone commented on how "homey" everything felt. We easily settled in and had zero issues finding everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Outdoors, the property is amazing. The creek running under the house was really neat! An abundant of rain and thunderstorms prevented us from spending too much time outdoors, but listening to the rain and the rushing creek from inside was ideal for our relaxing weekend. Any questions I had were very promptly answered. Randi and Wendi are excellent hosts! We are very grateful for an exceptional weekend and can't wait to come back again!
