'Overall the property was what we expected. Ideal for two persons, doing local daytrips. Basic, safe, clean with a small kitchen, equipped for 2 persons. Clean linen and a comfortable double bed. Typical the apartments one would find in Europe. We did not use the loose blanket on the bed, but it is in need of a wash.'

'We had no problem with our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service and food was excellent. The only drawback was the hotel has a generator, but during loadshedding all the plugs and lights are off. So during the evenings you only have a small light in the room. If you are an outdoor person, there are lots to do during the day. We will definitely go back if they do an upgrade on their generator.'

'Beautiful hotel in an incredible place. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Bit disappointed that my room did not have an AC and it got quite hot. The spa was also really lovely, but the nail products were disappointing. The experience was great and the therapists were really friendly, but I’d hope for better products next time. Overall a great place and I’d definitely recommend to others! '

'a terrible, small, smelly caravan awaited us with a toilet and shower around the corner in a dark small outside room. No cookware and cutlery were outdated and old. We did not stay there and booked another accommodation, therefore needed to pay twice for accommodation for our holiday. When confronted the owner about the crappy caravan she just replied " In 6 months time, you will laugh about your experience at The Stables"'

'This was a wonderful hotel that suited our needs perfectly. It is situated in the road leading to the lagoon, so a quick walk gets you onto the water in no time. The hotel is geared for people doing water sports. There are private lockers on your patio to lock up gear in, hangers for wetsuits and large basins in the shower to wash your gear. The rooms are very comfortable with all you could want. Very comfortable bed. The food at the restaurant was delicious. There is also a water sports center...

'Als je op zoek bent naar een leuk verblijf in Langebaan, ga dan naar de Farmhouse Hotel. De kamers zijn wat verouderd, maar wel comfortabel (goed bed, fijne douche en genoeg ruimte). Verder heb je geweldige faciliteiten: een heerlijke tuin met zwembad, een groot terras, uitmuntend ontbijt, zeer goed restaurant, een bar met een haard, pooltafel en allerlei bordspellen. Heerlijk om lekker tot rust te komen. Als je wilt kiten (de reden om naar Langebaan te gaan), dan ben je binnen 5 minuten rijden...

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the house was well-equipped with everything we needed. The views of the natural fynbos and the bay were absolutely unmatched, making for a truly breathtaking and peaceful stay. Highly recommend!'

'Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch. Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. A small fridge, and kettle were available for my snacks and tea. The shower was absolutely amazing, and much needed after a long car ride! The balcony even had views of the lagoon. There’s a serene koi pond in the back, and pool as well. Most of all, I felt safe as a solo female. May God bless this...
