'This is the 3rd time that I am returning to Halcyon. It really is the best hotel on Mawella beach (and maybe even in whole of southern province :) The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the staff are super friendly, including owner Xander, it's absolutely right on the beach , the food is great. What more to say, it's a little peace of heaven :) '

'Casa Tangalle ligt op een prachtplek; op een paar passen lopen van het spreekwoordelijke maagdelijke zandstrand, afgeboord met palmen. Belangrijk pluspunt is het kleine zwembad (eerder dompelbad) dat af en toe voor verfrissing zorgt. Ook de A/C in de slaapkamer functioneert behoorlijk en biedt de noodzakelijke verkoeling voor de warmte die ook 's nachts in huis ruim boven de 30 graden komt. 'Overall stay was good. However, the bathrooms are visible inside the room. Not recommended for a family to stay inside the room. I kindly suggest to put up curtains or a blurred glass to have privacy. Also, the balconies are connected to each room with a sliding door which is kind of unnecessary i feel. 'Kamer met uitzicht op zee geboekt en meer voor betaald. Helaas geen zee te zien vanaf zowel het balkon als door de ramen. Airco functioneerde niet voldoende en lekte zowel in de kamer als op het balkon. Badkamer ruikt niet fris en komt zeer weinig water uit de douche. Verder wel schone nette kamer. Goede grote handoeken. Volgende keer zou ik toch een ander verblijf boeken. '

'We had a great time at the villa. Ash and his team made us feel welcome and helped us organize fun day trips. It was a great spot for a group of 9. The beach is right next to the house and is perfect for early morning walks on the beach. The food was delicious. The team organized several fun events including a traditional fire dance and fireworks on New Years. Thank you!'
