Not so good: Although seems to be in the process of being renovated, rooms were dated and not well maintained. We had to switch rooms due to airconditioner causing a leak in the roof.'

'Goed hotel, netjes, schoon en net verbouwd. Het restaurant beneden is niet het beste in de wereld, maar er zijn meer dan genoeg opties in de buurt. Ontzettend goed personeel dat ook met beperkt Engels je ontzettend probeert te helpen.'

'What a beautiful location! The staff were so welcoming on arrival. The room was very clean on check in. A stand out issue for us was not having soap to wash our hands after using the bathroom. A simple, yet very important oversight. Other than that, the location and staff were great and very accommodating.'

'The room (Jnr suite) was clean, comfortable & spacious with fridge, microwave & small hotplate in kitchenette but lighting, especially in kitchen & lounge was poor. When it was windy, the balcony roof caught the wind & it roared & rattled all night, but there were block out curtains in the bedroom. Parking was undercover which was great, & unusual in the area! The revolving restaurant had good quality food, but only 2 expensive choices - steak or fish!'

'The location is nice if you want to spend time in Noumea, but it is a longer drive to get out of the centre. During the weekends, there is a lot of noise from the surrounding area (bars), till 23:00 or even midnight.
It was unclear at the time of booking, that there was no cleaning service offered. I was given 1 roll of toilet paper only! WiFi was free for only one day. Rubbish was not collected from the room. Much noise from the corridors. I had a cockroach in the room. The room itself was...
