'Giannis was excellent - could not have been more helpful. The room itself was beautiful, partner found the bed a little too firm but I thought it was perfect. Free minibar was a nice perk. I wish the pool hours were longer but I understand from a liability perspective.
The vending machine in the lobby was an excellent touch. Room was kept lovely and clean! Location was perfectly central, delicious brunch was just steps away and the town centre was a few minutes out. I hope that we return to...

'We loved our stay here the front desk staff was helpful especially with navigating the bus routes! Our room was beautiful. There was easy access to a very nice beach. There were a couple restaurant options within walking distance on the beach. It’s about at 20 minute walk to old town Skiathos or a quick bus route from stop 5 to stop 0. Breakfast was okay for a breakfast buffet.'

There was adequate Aircon across the whole of the apartment.
The apartment is in an excellent location in a quiet area but on the edge of where the action is.

'Staff was very friendly and view from our small but clean, comfortable room was amazing! The downside is that you have to haul your luggage up an old stone walkway and staircase to check in at The Water hotel. Unfortunately, our bags were 50 lbs (23kg) each. Luckily, a staffer offered to take them the rest of the way to our room at The Rock, which is more old stone stairs up to an old stone walkway away. There are no elevators. Thank goodness for Alberto!'

The sun beds were very comfortable, 20€ for 2 beds plus 1 umbrella. Unless you were in the front row when it was 25€. As there was 3 of us no option but to pay for 4 beds !

'We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. When I arrived for a x2 night booking ,the WiFi was not working this also meant the TV streaming service was not available. I made contact via WhatsApp and also went to the Sister Hotel ( The Water ) to try and sort out.
