'We were initially put in a room that clearly smelled like smoke. My wife asked that we be moved to a different room. The first room they showed her smelled strongly like dog poop. The next room was fine, and we were grateful that the staff helped. The hallway smelled like smoke, which was not good. Our room wasn’t made up in the three days we stayed. Otherwise, it was walking distance to places to eat and conveniently close to our son’s apartment.

'First and foremost, this place has no elevator! So prepare to carry your bags up the steps. I did not find one of the front desk people very friendly or willing to help. Shades on the windows in the bedroom are not very private nor do they keep out any light. The furniture in the room is very rickety. And the breakfast was worthless. Hard-boiled eggs and waffles toast and muffins was basically all they had. If you can, find another place to stay.

'There were some coffee or cola splashed on the wall by the bed, and foot prints in the mix.. like the cola had fallen off of something and splattered. There were long dark hairs in the bathtub and I have blonde hair. There were some blood spots on the wall in the bathroom. I reported to the desk at discharge and the girl at the desk said she’d report it. As I was walking out she was relaying it to the housekeeping supervisor, which she had told me she would do… and both had a good laugh about...
