'Beautiful property That said, the description that the room was “151 steps “ from the main building was incomplete and misleading. The reality is the room was 151 stairs below the property, a good number of which were not sufficiently lit, and in fact the room, which was dank and musty, was more than half way down the cliff. Although it has a lovely view of the yacht harbor, bay and Vesuvius, unless you are a very fit mountain hiker, you would do well to look further. '

'Our room was excellent. Spacious, comfortable, large bathroom, meticulously clean. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Vera, the owner, was a charm. Know the best places to eat and how to get around. 3 blocks from train station, 2 blocks into center of town. For the money, unbeatable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Easy ferry to Positano, Amalfi and Capri. Don't miss Pompeii......a wonder of the world. Get a tour guide, ours was excellent. Ciao.'

'Marco and Gianluigi went out of their way to make sure our stay in Sorrento was wonderful. Casa Enzina was located perfectly so that most everything was easy to walk to. The hotel is located inside of an old grand building that must have lots of history. I’d recommend this highly to anyone considering a stay in Sorrento. '

'I can't say enough good things about this property. Let's start at the beginning....after I made the reservation, the owners were in contact with me via WhatsApp texting, giving me tips and offering assistance before and during our stay. Guilia (pronounced Julie), met us at the property upon our arrival and gave us a thorough tour of our room. Our room was VERY spacious, with a king size bed, couch/day bed, large screen (55+) TV, very nice ensuite (bathroom), a mini fridge, stocked with waters...

'We stayed for 3 nights in May while visiting Italy. I can't say enough positive things about the Ara Maris. We were in a room overlooking the rear pool/garden with a private hot tub. We did not miss viewing the sea as we'd seen it throughout the day. The room was spacious and we especially appreciated the double sinks and the separate water closet. The room was well appointed (above and beyond other 5 stars) with flip flops, tote for the pool and a Dyson hair dryer. Appreciated the fresh...
