Another Great Xmas At Trail's End Cottage
My family has been renting this house for the past 4 years as a centrally located place to gather for the holidays. It is the perfect place for our get-together. The house is well maintained and very clean. We're already looking forward to next year!

Beautiful Vacation Lodge
This is the second year my family has stayed at Trails End Lodge. The Lodge is spacious, clean and well maintained. The yard was beautiful with a huge sand area perfect for playing games, sunning by the water and sitting by the campfire. The hosts were very kind and responsive. We can't wait to return!!!

Great Family Getaway
This is the third time we have rented this property. The setup is wonderful for grandparents and two sons’ families (13 in all). They supply everything children need for playing in the sand and water. The house is equally supplied which makes packing so easy. Great place for great memories!

Our growing family has been vacationing at this property for several years now and the anticipation grows from year to year. This property has everything we need to for ages 6 months to 69 years regardless of how the weather cooperates. We will be back in 2024!

Lovely in every way
It’s a lovely property and the house was spotless. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed and then some. The garage had bikes, lake toys, just everything. We couldn’t use them because of the weather but it was so generous to supply them. There’s a closet full of extras - tooth brushes, first aid, flashlights - they literally thought of everything. There were coloring books and crayons, games, lots of towels, regular coffee pot plus a Keurig with pods. Half of the backyard was wonderful beach sand which the kids in our family loved! We hid shells for them to hunt and they spent hours playing in the sand. We couldn’t ask for more. Also, for a lake house, there was no mildew smell. It’s a beautiful property and a host who obviously wanted our stay to be comfortable. It was first class in every way. Highly recommend!

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful views of the lake. House was very clean and very accommodating for our family. Very nice game room for entertaining. I would suggest additional furniture in the living area. House sleeps 12 however there is only a couch and love seat to accommodate 5 people in the living area. I would highly recommend this property for vacationing.

Nate is an excellent host
This was the third year that my family has gathered here for Christmas. The property is always clean and comfortable with all the amenities we need for our Christmas dinner. This year, the weather service was calling for blizzard conditions. We were pleasantly surprised when Nate reached out the day before our scheduled check-in date and offered to allow us to access the house early in order to beat the storm. What a great host! We also had an issue with one of the TVs and Nate and his wife both took a significant amount of time on the day before Christmas working with Spectrum to resolve the issue. You can’t go wrong renting from Nate.

Very nice property!!
Lots of room in the house and plenty of beds to accommodate. The lake is shallow, warm and great for swimming and activities. The yard is perfect for play too, part sand, part lawn. The paddle board and kayaks for use were much appreciated. This property is great for families! Nate let us know that the gas grill igniter wasn’t working as told to him by the previous renters, it could also use some new burners, as it didn’t get very hot and took a long time to cook food. The first morning we discovered the coffee pot wasn’t brewing and we went to Walmart for a new one which Nate offered to reimburse us for but we decided to keep it and bring it with us for future rentals “just in case!” Overall, great stay with the fam!! Beautiful area surrounded by beautiful homes, nice for walking the neighborhood!

This 4 bedroom/2 full bath vacation house has everything you need for a great vacation! The game room in the back is perfect to allow the young adults their own space. The best part for us was the ability to vacation with our 2 Great Danes! This one-of-a-kind lake-front rental has it all!

Excellent Property for Families!
This was an awesome place to stay. Lots of games for the kids. I was pleasantly surprised by all the kid stuff there... stools, cups, plates, and bowls, high chair. This is so helpful when traveling with toddlers. There was easy access to the lake on snow mobiles and plenty of parking for our trailer. We came by this rental because our first one had an issue. I was able to book this same day as we were already headed to MI. The owner was very helpful and accomodating.

Perfect For Our Family Get Together
This property was perfect for a family Christmas get together. It was clean with lots of basic supplies. It is large with plenty of space to spread out but also has great common areas for the group to come together. Nate was fantastic to work with. One of the best hosts I've encountered on VRBO. Guys Weekend
For anybody looking for an opportunity to reconnect with friends and family… Or just a guys weekend of cards, corn hole and football. This is a perfect destination. The location has great amenities, bars, restaurants and the best part is the view. The property owner was very responsive. And it was as advertised. I rate properties one of two ways. Bonding time.
The cottage and it’s added game room gave everyone room to carry on different activities. Because the weather was cooler, the sandy front was great entertainment for the kids. Wish we could have spent more time in the water. The days we could go into the lake made us appreciate the sandy bottom. Nice to have the games available.

Over all wonderful!
This place has anything you need and more. It’s extremely clean and all up to date. It’s close by any store you would need. Everyone can space out and not have to worry about shower times with 2 bathrooms or quite time going to game room to nap.

Great Place!
This is our second time vacationing here! Three generations enjoyed a week of every type of weather - thunderstorms, wind, clouds and sunshine. This home is so well equipped - indoor supplies and game room fully stocked as well as all outdoor water and sand toys for the ages 2-70 years old in our family - we had a great time! The outside grass and sand area is perfect with the boardwalk separating the cement sea wall from the beach area as well as some tress for shade when needed. Thanks for supplying such a wonderful environment for time to relax and enjoy family!

Well-supplied and comfortable
It was a great place to spend a reunion with my parents and siblings. Plenty of outdoor furniture and space to gather in yard and deck, lots of places in living room and game room for people to visit. The lake is shallow a long way out, perfect for kids, fairly clear. Windy with a fair amount of waves while we were there, so couldn't use the kayaks and paddleboard as much as we'd have liked. The kitchen is a bit short on counter and cupboard space, but has all the necessities and the two refrigerators in the house were a godsend! We cooked all meals there and were grateful for the dishwasher. Bathrooms were clean and updated with plenty of towels. Water pressure is a bit weak and has a slight odor. Beds were super comfortable. Easy to get to stores nearby, neighborhood is nice as well. I would recommend to anyone looking for a family getaway on a nice lake.

This house is gorgeous! It is well stocked and organized with just about anything you need. The back yard is nicely shaded to sit and enjoy the lake. The lake is shallow right behind the house, which was perfect for the kids to safely swim. The neighborhood was very quiet. Parking is great for boat trailers. The beds are very comfortable. The owner is easy to reach and very quick to respond.

Perfect place for a group of ladies
The cottage was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable. At first we were concerned about no air conditioning but found the cross air from the front to the back perfect. We did have some trouble with the tv but a phone call to the owner fixed it. Maybe in the future the remotes could be labeled and some written instructions given for those of us who are not techies. Normally our group is 8 and 2 bathrooms present a problem but I can guarantee if we have less than 8 we will surely return. We also loved the fire pit.
