Welcome to Sunset Cove! Here you can take in one of the most breathtaking Smith Mountain Lake sunsets over the open cove and beach! Revel in the spectacular views from all three levels of this townhome with a walk-out deck or patio on each level. Sunset Cove is in the Waterways Community which offers a swimming pool (open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day), tennis and basketball courts, a boat ramp, trailer storage, and a community beach! This townhouse is conveniently located to all local attractions and is incredibly close to the Smith Mountain Lake State Park.
A new split air-conditioning system has been added to the upstairs area to make it more comfortable for guests. New flooring throughout the entire house better accommodates your pets. The main level, basement sitting room, and the bedroom TVs are conveniently set up with Roku. Sunset Cove provides three sleeping areas and three-and-a-half baths, making plenty of room for the entire family to join your vacation!
On the entry level you will feel right at home with a well-equipped kitchen that is open to the dining room, living room, and half bath. The living room has abundant space for everyone to relax while also enjoying the view of the lake. Open the sliding glass doors right off the living room and let in the natural sunlight to brighten the space.
Upstairs features a waterfront primary bedroom with a large bathroom with a standalone shower and soaking tub, and a private balcony to enjoy your morning coffee. The second upstairs bedroom also has a full-sized bathroom. The laundry completes the upper level.
Downstairs showcases the third bedroom with a full-sized bathroom. The open entertainment area will be the hangout spot for your vacation crew, as it has a TV, large sofas, a bar area, and sliding glass doors that lead to the gas grill and beach.
A covered boat slip with no lift is available by request (this vacation rental accommodates one boat only).

Max occupancy is four people over the age of two years old (county and state law).

Dock Details: Limit 1 boat can be docked during stay. MUST be in the boat slip marked for the unit. No exceptions.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
