Che dire, il castello/villa è stupendo e nella notte trascorsa, io e mia moglie eravamo gli unici clienti, emozione pura, il castello era "nostro" per un giorno! abbiamo girovagato per il bellissimo giardino e fatto un giro turistico per le stanze, bellissime e pulitissime. 'Paar nachten verbleven. Mooi hotel, heel mooi pand en van binnen ziet het er ook heel keurig uit. Mooie grote douche, en ook een ruim bed. Maar, we hadden wel het gevoel dat de prijs vooral voor het pand is, want hoewel alles heel keurig en netjes was, was het niet zoveel beter dan andere hotels van deze vakantie die stukken goedkoper waren.
Restaurant is iets wat duur maar mijn stuk vlees was wel erg lekker. Salade van mijn vrouw zat nog zand in.
Ligging is wel erg mooi aan het water, en daar...

'Brilliant room -“ D’or “ full of golden antiques and quirky items, felt very luxurious. Spent some time in the hot tub, then on lounger in sun playing peek a boo with tiny geckos! Swimming pool. Lovely rural setting right near the River Loire. Great welcome from host Miriam who produced a cold beer, a glass of cremant ( in the tub!) and a delicious amuse bouche. She made a recommendation for a dinner in a beautiful riverside location. Breakfast was good. What a lovely place to stay. '
