Convinient hotel for short stay, close to airport
We stayed here 1 night as we arrived late into Male and were travelling to another island the following morning. Relax Beach Inn was a resaonable priced option for our very short stay, close to the airport. They kindly arrange for transport from the airport which was good as well as transport back to the boat port the next morning, all at a reasonable price.Would recommend this for a short stay like ours!

Nice Staff
The hotel is a very basic hotel and perfect for an overnight stay. The room is small and feels like renting a room at a guesthouse but if you just want a place to sleep, this is the place. The hotel staff was very nice, friendly and welcoming. The hotel is about a 15 min ride from the airport and they do provide shuttle service but seems like it is a common trend to wait over 30 mins for it to pick you up. We called in advance to see if we could avoid having to wait but we were not allowed to do reservations. Overall, a great overnight location with breakfast included.

Clean hotel, next to beach.
Staff was nice and hotel room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. The only negative thing that we noticed was that the lobby smelled of cigarette smoke and the second floor hallway smelled as though someone had just vomited.

Fantastic location, fantastic excursions and fanta
The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. the excursions were easy to organise and were well executed. The staff at the hotel, cafe and excursions were all exceptional. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Its a great local experience in the Maldives.

Olimme varanneet kolmen hengen huoneen, mutta saimme huoneen, jossa oli yksi iso sänky eikä lisävuodetta lainkaan. Pyysimme kolmatta yösijaa ja henkilökunta toi vastahakoisesti patjan huoneeseemme. Pyyhkeitäkin oli vain kaksi. Huone oli todella likainen ja palvelu huonoa. Wifi ei toiminut huoneissa lainkaan ja yleisissä tiloissa vaihtelevasti. Lisäksi hotellin ravintola antoi vaihtorahana väärennettyjä dollareita. Sijainti oli ainoa hyvä puoli hotellissa. En menisi hotelliin toista kertaa.

We booked in for five nights, however we stayed just one, and moved to a far better hotel in Male. The staff were unfriendly and could not be bothered to assist..with maps or bus timetable etc. the area itself is poor and very dirty. The room was of good size, however, there was virtually no balcony, even though it was advertised..it measured .three feet X three feet with no lock ...no security ! As for the breakfast...no fans or aircon in the dining area, and the food was non refrigerated..the orange juice was actually hot! A very very basic two slice toaster !! Not good enough at all. On top of this, even though the transfer was confirmed the day before, the driver failed to arrive until one hour late and numerous calls to them

The worst hotel and location that I ever stayed in
Overall, we were very disappointed with the hotel, location and the money that we spent for this trip/holidays. We would never recommend this main Island called Hulhumale to anyone as a holiday destination. The whole city is a building/construction site with so much noise and rubbish laying around. We could not believe where we ended. Hotel staff was not very friendly, could hardly speak any English and therefore, none of our requests could have been handled by their employees. We received hardly any welcome and/or important information regarding our stay in this hotel and the room, in which we supposed to stay, was very basic - no phone, in-room safe was available as advertised online. Definitely, not a 4-star hotel. Would not give this hotel 1 star in our opinion. Beach was close by, but public and also very messy. No swimming/sunbathing allowed anywhere in this city. What type of holiday destination is this? We felt like we were being punished to spent our holidays there in Hulhumale. We did not feel safe in this hotel, as a male, who is/was employed by the hotel entered our room while we were sleeping and gave us a fright. In general, this was the worst place/location we ever stayed in. Never again.

Ok för en natt!
Stannade en natt inför vidare färd ut till den ö som var vår slutdestination. Trodde hotellet skulle ligga närmare flygplatsen än vad det gjorde. Inte mycket runt omkring att se på men vi skulle som sagt bara tillbringa en natt på stället så det var ok. Mysigt med strandnära restauranger på andra sidan gatan! Vet ej hur frukosten var eftersom vi åkte innan den började serveras. Servicenivån hos dagpersonalen var låg, fick känslan av att vi mest var till besvär när vi frågade om något. Den kvinnliga som var på kvällen verkade tycka mer om sitt jobb och förstå innebörden av service! (Vi är inte på ngt vis krävande gäster men har naturligtvis en del frågor när man kommer till nytt ställe)

Sehr günstiges Hotel direkt am Strand von Hulhumal
Leider hatte man uns vergessen am Flughafen abzuholen:-(. Nachdem wir das Hotel mit freundlicher Unterstützung eines am Flughafen befindlichen einheimischen Reiseleiter erreicht hatten, wurden wir innerhalb 20 Minuten abgeholt und mittels Taxi zum Hotel gebracht. Das Zimmer konnte gegen 14.00 Uhr bezogen werden. Ausgestattet mit TV/WLAN/Klimaanlage/Doppelbett/Dusche/WC. Ausreichend und sehr sauber. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand von Hulhumale. Hotelteam und Service freundlich, jedoch nur eine einigermaßen Verständigung in Englisch. Verpflegung All Inn! Nicht vergleichbar mit europäischen Standard. Kein Alkohol! Für einen kurzfristigen Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen und sehr günstig für örtliche Verhältnisse. Langer Strand, direkt vor der Haustür, jedoch nicht besonders sauber. In Laufnähe ist der Hafen von Hulhumal und von dort kann mit den örtlichen Fähren andere Insel besuchen. Sehr günstig ( ca. 30 Eurocent ) für die Fahrt nach Male, wo man Fischmarkt, Früchtemarkt etc. und natürlich die Stadt ansehen kann. Die Fähren fahren alle 10 Minuten. Wetter super, immer zwischen 30 und 35 Grad im März. Das Wasser ist wirklich so blau, wie auf den Bilder:-) Wenn man einen etwas anderen Urlaub haben möchte, sehr zu empfehlen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten überall vorhanden. Wir waren 12 Tage dort, 7 Tage hätten auch genügt. Fazit: Sehr günstige Möglichkeit die Malediven zu erleben, wie sie wirklich sind.

Satisfied stay in Relax Beach Inn
We were 3 person, the hotel allocated a big room with seaview to us, and the price was quite cheap. We had a satisfied stay in this inn. The boss was honest as well, cuz my credit card did not go through for the first time, gave him to swipe for 2nd time. However, I just receive the message from my cell phone that the transaction was unsuccessful. Had told the boss and asked him to swipe for the 3rd time, he honestly told me that it was successful for the 2nd swipe. Later on, when I came back to Singapore and checked with the bank, the transaction for the 2nd was indeed successful. Overall, a satisfying stay.

Für Übernachtungen nahe des Airports gut geeignet. Strand sehr nahe, aber mit ein paar einheimischen Männern im Busch (klingt schlimmer als es ist) Preis/Leistung ist sehr gut.

The hotel is in a very ugly area, although by the beach. It is OK just for the night. Half board was badly served. They speak little English. Internet OK and clean enough. Wouldn't recommedn neither the hotel nor the area, but still is cheaper than the Capital and only 10m away from airport. I'd rather pay more than stay there again.

Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit . das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Die Möbel sind schon modern. Aber die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr klein und was wichtig ist: Es ist kein typisches Hotel was wir aus Deutschland kennen, also es ist kein Resort oder so, sondern sozusagen wie ein Privatgebäude mit kleinen Zimmern einfach. Aber auf Hulhumale sind alle Hotels so. Wer nicht Luxus braucht und nicht viel Geld ausgeben will ist hier richtig. Wer aber gerne für Luxus mehr zahlt sollte sich dann lieber ein Resort buchen auf einer Privatinsel.(waren ein Tag auf einem Privat Resort und es ist wirklich traumhauft gewesen, das nächste mal gehe ich auf eine Privatinsel mit 4-5 Sterne Resort, aber es war trotzdem toll die Einheimischen kennenzulernen und wie es allgemein auf so einer "grossen" Insel ist) Das Essen im Relax Beach in schmeckt aber ist nichts besonderes. Der Strand und das Meer ist wirklich fantastisch, natürlich ist auf den Privatresort es noch etwas sauberer und größer, aber trotzdem ist das Meer und der Strand wunderschön

L'accès est très compliqué.
Dur dur d'y arriver ! Il n'y a pas de taxi qui sont autorisés à aller à Hululmalé depuis l'aéroport. Donc prenez le bus et ... Marchez ! Sur place, les travaux de l'hôtel sont terminés. Les repas sont frugal, juste le minimum. La chambre est plutôt grande mais très simple.

垃圾騙子! Rubbish hotel. Stay away!
一開始到了酒店,等了很久,職員說有房,然後就收了我們房錢。收錢後,職員就跟我說沒房,說帶我去另一家酒店叫Wonder Retreat 。當時我已經覺得非常的不合理,沒房的話為什麼是收錢後才說? 因為當時很熱,行李又很重,而且不能退款,我們只好跟他去Wonder Retreat. 去到的時候,職員完全不友善,黑口黑面的,就安排了一家有露台的房給我們,可是一開始預訂的海景沒了。 房間十分簡陋,廁所非常臭,而且沖涼沒有熱水,也沒有風筒。打電話問職員有沒有風筒,他的態度十分悪劣,一句抱歉都沒說。 千萬不要住這家酒店,黑店!

Hulhumale will be better in a few years.
Most of the staff didn't speak English very well. Small hotel and the rooms were nothing spectacular about, but when your there you won't be spending much time in the room so it's okay. Restaurants and small shops nearby and a lot of activity with hotels, apartments and a whole society coming up further in on the island. Neighbouring the hotel a house was coming up but in my opinion it didn't disturb too much. Breakfast was the poorest I have ever witnessed. Toast with butter or jam, sausages, apples, cereal, juice and "omelette" (just an egg) was pretty much it. I would recommend going to any of the smaller islands, it is there you'll find bungalows and so, though it is a bit more expensive.

Not happy with this hotel at all. Made a reservation weeks in advance of arrival, but when we arrived late at night, we were told hotel was experiencing a power cut, despite seeing lights and other appliances fully working. We booked All Inclusive too, but were told that only breakfast was included. We were moved to a hotel down the road, owned by the same person. Poor service, basic rooms, and completely unsatisfied. Won't stay here again nor will I recomment this place to anyone.

OK, but definitely not a 4* hotel
It is a basic hotel, definitely not 4*, more like 2*. The staff was friendly and the rooms were cleaned every day, but the all inclusive option is not really an all inclusive, the breakfast was very basic, consisting of toasts, butter, jam and egg. If arrived at around 7am we were also lucky to get a sausage. The location is near the beach, but women are not permitted to wear bikini at that beach so with 35 degrees this is definitely a big let down. The building next to the hotel is being built so there was a lot of noise from that. Overall the hotel is ok if you want to stay on a budget basis in Maldives.

Hotellin pakollinen lentokenttäkuljetus ei ollut sovitusti paikalla ja kentän infotiskin kautta soittivat hotellille. 30min jälkeen toisen hotellin kuljettaja kysyi mihin menen ja tarjosi kyydin. Tästä kyydistä hotellilta yritettiin periä maksua. Sisäänkirjautuessa huoneeni ei ollut saatavilla,vaan jouduin menemään kellarihuoneeseen yhdeksi yöksi, vaikka olin maksanut huoneesta merinäköalalla. Sain sovittua paikanpäällä, etten maksa lentokenttäkuljetuksesta tämän takia. Tämän lisäksi vastaanottovirkailija ei kertonut mitään käytännön asioista, kuten ruokailusta ja wifin käytöstä, vaan jokaisesta asiasta piti tulla kysymään vastaanotosta erikseen. Vastaanotto oli hotellitiedoista poiketen auki vain 7:30-23:30, eikä 24h. Ruokailu toimi hyvin ja valikoima oli aamiaista lukuunottamatta hyvä. Toisena päivänä sain varaamani huoneen ja se oli odotusten mukainen. Hotelli oli aivan rannassa hyvällä paikalla, mutta rannassa ei pystynyt uimaan korallien takia. Paluukyyti lentoasemalle ei toiminut sovitun mukaisesti, joten siihen on hyvä varata ylimääräistä aikaa. Kuljettaja tuli myöhässä paikalle, eikä suostunut lähtemään ennen kuin oli juonut kahvin ja keskustellut kaverinsa kanssa hotellin ravintolassa. Kuljettaja ei puhunut englantia, eikä sanonut sanaakaan, vaan vastaanottovirkailija toimi tulkkina.

Hotel location is pretty nice n the view from the room at 2nd floor is just awesome. Hotel staff is very polite n cooperative.Food quality is average. Excellent for short stay. Tip: choose the sea side room as I did, its worth paying some more dollars.

Great hotel but no all inclusive
The All Inclusive is in reality a Full Board since nothing is included outside 3 meals by day. Outside that the hotel is really great. Good place to relaxe directly in front of the public beach (so bikini is prohibited but tolerate). Expedition are good and improve the experience with local people.

Clean and tidy hotel within sight of beach but no view from bedroom window. Just a two tone painted green wall. Although basic, the hotel gave a pleasant stay. The staff are helpful but, they do not understand English fully. So, when I asked what time they cleaned the room. They thought I was asking for a room transfer(?). The area is currently being developed. Building work is going on everywhere. Whole new hotel complexes are being constructed. I guess in a year's time that Male will look completely different. It will have lost many of it's open spaces. Motorcycles are driven everywhere. The locals do not wear crash helmets and ride with children sitting on their knees!

Good Hotel from Transit as very near to airport
- got a room with beach view, from where we saw amazing sunrise and waves. - stayed here for an overnight as our flight was early next morning - had sumptuous dinner and good breakfast (half board) - room Clean with TV- many channels - WIFI was fast - beach in front was a public beach - staff was friendly and looked after our needs - overall area where hotel is located is new and developing, it was not yet crowded like Male area

We stayed four nights. The Island of Hulhumale is not very interesting, so through the hotel we could arrange trips, which was great. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bed was very soft though and there was a bit of noise coming from the road and renovations next door. The personel was not very helpful with advise on what to do, so you have to ask and sometimes more that once. The breakfast was horrible!
