PARADIJS IN PALMAS! OCEAAN VOOR! SLAAP 2-6 GASTEN! PRACHTIG!

Mijn appartement is een klein stukje van de hemel! Het is letterlijk slechts een paar stappen naar het strand! De slaapkamer en woonkamer hebben beide een prachtig uitzicht en openen naar de veranda. De veranda heeft een aanrecht over de hele lengte waar we de meeste van onze maaltijden eten, luisterend naar het eb en vloed en het kijken naar de golven, de pelikanen duiken naar vis, en de leguanen beklimmen de palmbomen. We bewonderen de occaisional surfers & kiteboard & windsurfers terwijl ze over de golven vliegen. 'S Nachts schijnt de maan op het water en creëert een vloeibaar zilvereffect dat verbluffend is! Het bevindt zich op de 2e verdieping van een klein gebouw met 3 verdiepingen en is zeer privé. Er is 1 grote slaapkamer, maar 6 tot 7 personen kunnen gemakkelijk zeer comfortabel slapen, zowel in de loft / entree en op de enorme U-vormige woonkamer bank. Er zijn 2 grote smart-tv's met soundbars, 2 fietsen / helmen / luchtpompen, veel strandstoelen en strandlakens, en een volledig uitgeruste keuken. Het gehele appartement is van u tijdens uw verblijf. Er is een zwembad voor de leden van het stranddorp waar u toegang toe heeft, op 2 minuten lopen van uw deur. Het Palmas Del Mar Resort is een gated community waar veel succesvolle Puerto Ricanen wonen of een weekendplaats hebben, waar veel mensen uit de staten ervoor kiezen om op afstand te wonen en met pensioen te gaan of te werken en waar veel toeristen komen om te ontspannen en het prachtige eiland te verkennen. Het resort heeft verschillende restaurants, een supermarkt, 2 golfbanen, een tenniscentrum, een fitnesscentrum, een country club, vele zwembaden (waarvan je een sleutel hebt) en een prachtig strand! Je loopt de trappen van het appartement af en je bent op het strand!

Palmas del Mar

Couldn't be any closer to the beach than with this wonderful ocean-front unit! We enjoyed the views and ocean breeze from the patio, and slept with the doors open every night. While there were few insects in this area, we liked having screens in the doors and windows just in case. The kitchen was well-equipped, and it was nice that there was a toaster oven--since there's no regular oven... We also took advantage of the nice quiet pool area. Finally, having two bikes to use during our stay was an extra bonus! We'll be back!

Lisa was an amazing host, extremely responsive and helpful; she even helped me with coordinating my surprise vow renewal! The condo was exactly as listed, spacious with everything you may need. The view is the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen, better than a postcard! The resort area was lovely with many things to explore. I would definitely recommend this rental!

Great location with lots of extras!

This property is located in a very nice gated community. It is on the beach and a very short walk to the pool. A short walk down a beach path and you are at the plaza. The owner supplies plenty of soaps including shampoo and conditioner! There were beach chair's, a cabana, a boogie board, beach toy's, and plenty of beach towels for us to use. We enjoyed pizzellas pizza and the frozen yogurt place at the plaza. The market is pricey but does have essentials if needed. We cooked most of our meals and the pans and tools necessary were all in the condo. The community(like the rest of the island)does lose power frequently, for only short amounts of time, but I want to note this because it is wise to only buy a couple days of perishables at a time. The walmart is close(10 minutes)to stop on your travels and grab essentials for meals. The view from the deck,and the sound of the waves at night, were our favorite features of this property. There are so many things to see and do in Peurto Rico that we will be planning another trip to see more of what we missed. Just outside of the gated community there is a shipping container coffee and breakfast shop. Ohana Jireh Coffee Shop. Its Cash only but was very good. The owners were very sweet and helped us decide what to order. The cappuccino was amazing. The owner of this property was super helpful,friendly,and check in was seamless.

Amazing Spot Right on a Private Beach

Fabulous view

Amazing view from bedroom, living room, and deck. Lisa is a wonderful host. Great location. Can walk about a half mile to Palmanova Plaza along beach or on path through the woods. Palmas Del Mar is such a nice place to stay. Had several very good meals at restaurants in Palmas.

Fabulous spot

The view here is priceless. Spent ton of time on the porch and in the magnificent ocean and the bed is super comfy. Lisa was wonderful and helpful. You are walkable to 3-4 fab restaurants. This location can’t be beat and the beach has beautiful sand and the water is warm and clean and the waves are perfect for playing! We’ll be back for sure.

Overall, what a great place to stay! The condo is kept up well& it's very clean! Pictures are accurate, other than the abundance of seaweed that is on the beach. We were not able to swim or enjoy the beach due to excessive sea weed bloom- which is not the hosts fault. Other than that, We would definitely stay here again!

Million Dollar View

Stayed with my sisters and father for a father-daughter vacation as part of a 'bucket list gift to our dad. The location is gorgeous, Palmas Del Mar is quite a place, definitely felt 100% safe. The view is absolutely to die for. We traveled out of the community daily and it was a good home base for exploring. Sadly there was a lot of sargasso on the beach while we were there but it's not to be helped. We definitely recommended this condo.

great place & location

2nd floor with a wake up view of the sunrise each morning! Cup of coffee tasted better. Given its right on the beach, we only spent mornings & evenings there. perfect for a family of three. Relaxing Family Getaway

We spent 4 nights here and had a great time. The property is steps from the beach and is located in a community with lots of options. Communication with the owner was great. We would stay here again when traveling to Eastern Puerto Rico. Thanks for opening your condo to us!

Wonderful place in great location!

Lisa’s apartment has everything you need! She’s was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. The morning sunsets are gorgeous. Little touches like providing sunscreen, aloe, and suggestions on places to visit and eat were a bonus. We will definitely stay here again if we come back!

Week in Puerto Rico

Our family really enjoyed our stay here at Palmas Del Mar. Lisa was very attentive. She sent some recommendations on places to eat and visit, not only locally, but other places throughout Puerto Rico, before our visit during our planning phase of the trip. Once we arrived, she checked in with us periodically to make sure everything was going well. It was wonderful waking up each morning to a sunrise right beside the ocean. We had a great time and would come here again!

Great spot on the beach!

Arrival was very easy. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Beach is just a few steps away! Long walkable sand beach with small surf. Unit is quiet and comfortable and the AC works great. On site laundry definitely a plus. There are a number of restaurants just a short cool walk on the forest path. Would return for sure.

Property was steps from the beach and overall was a lovely experience. A few small nits -- there were some fruit flies in the kitchen and bathroom that were a slight nuisance, a couple of windows could stand to be replaced., and the neighborhood is prone to power outages that can last a couple of hours But overall very comfortable.

Nice Stay!

Nice condo right on the beach. The view was spectacular and you could hear the waves crashing at night. We have been to Puerto Rico many times in the past. This place was our second stop on a 12- day trip around the island. It is in the gated community of Palmas del Mar with a golf course similar to something you would find in a planned upscale beach community in Florida. This place is lovely but, if you are looking for a more traditional Puerto Rican experience, this might not be for you. However, if you are looking for a quiet beach vacation, you will find that the neighborhood is beautiful and the upkeep of the grounds are meticulous. The condo itself is nicely decorated, very clean, has a fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker, blender, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, plates, cups, pots/pans, etc.), washer/dryer, lots of seating, beach chairs/beach towels. Everything you need. It was just my husband and myself so plenty of room. The Coqui door knocker on the front door was adorable (now I have to find that on-line). Lisa was very responsive to the couple of questions that I had. There is a really huge Econo Supermarket in town which carries EVERYTHING you would find at home including wine, beer, etc. We did do a day trip over to Vieques and the ferry and airport are in the town of Cieba which is a little over a ½ hour away so great location for that. All in all, a very nice stay.
