'Centrally located, EXCELLENT STAFF, great breakfast, fun happy hour, 24 hour free coffee, clean comfortable rooms. The management loaned us water boots to do fern cannon, they are all about making your stay the best it can be! Highly recommend. '

'Never would I stay at this place again!!! Cannot express enough how unsafe I felt while staying here. As far as kitchen amenities they have the most organized system I’ve ever dealt with but the location is next door to Eurekas homeless encampment.'

'Despite all the other hotels around Motel 6 that costs more, we weren't dissappointed at all with Motel 6. For the lower price, Motel 6 at this location was great! Will use again when I visit my son in Arcata.'

'Property is clean and reasonably up to date. Location is rural, out of town but close by, and therefore quiet and peaceful. It is attached to a Casino, awesome if you like that, but adequately separated if you don’t. A bar and limited restaurant are in the hotel area, with additional bar and small food court in the casino. I’ve been staying here for years due to location and quiet.'

'This was a basic vintage hotel. It was comfortable and fine, but nothing to write home about. For instance, the rooms don’t have microwaves or little fridges. But the bathtub was really deep and awesome. It’s the kind you wanna get on the open ocean with a paddle and head your way to Hawaii.'

'The lobby and breakfast area are being renovated so all the pictures of the hotel first floor are fake. When we stayed, everyone had to take the breakfast to your room. The hotel and Expedia should notify guests that there is construction going on. It should NOT be a surprise when you arrive. '
