'Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.'

'Charming pub with spacious accommodation ideal for Penine Way walkers. This traditional hostelry, popular with both locals and visitors, has a great range of well kept ales and hearty meals. Also dog friendly : )
Note that breakfast is not provided but the accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen.'

'It was a reasonable room for the price but was let down by the level of cleanliness. Very disappointing.'

8.8 van 10, Voortreffelijk, (6 beoordelingen)
'The house has many good points but overall it all felt a bit cheap and tacky, and like the host was cost cutting at every opportunity.
For example, the shower gels offered were all little tiny bits left behind by other guests. Some instant coffee was left. It was a tiny amount, just enough for the 6 adults to have one cup of coffee. Just all a bit mean.
The house was very hot and there were no fans. Although we shut the curtains they were so flimsy the sun and heat still got through...

'Recommend the bed needs a mattress protector for hygiene and to protect the mattress.
The property is renovated to good modern standards for an old cottage.
Shops bars restaurants taxi rank all close by.
Home is clean.
Host is good with communication.
Definitely would stay again.'
