Wonderful to have the beach right outside the hotel. Plenty of seats for better weather. Very nice bedroom with all facilities. Rather basic dinner menu.

Excellent stay
We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights while visiting the area for The Who concert last weekend. It was an excellent stay with a warm friendly welcome. The rooms were very spacious and spotlessly clean with amazing views of the beach. We had a delicious evening meal the first evening and the breakfasts were really filling with a wide choice to suit all. The location is beautiful and also very peaceful, would definitely recommend and we would love to return.

A day next to the sea.
Nice, quite place next to the sea, our room even had a seaview. Clean rooms, kind staff, they serve a selection of good food in the restaurant. The weather was a bit rainy, but good trip overall.

Weekend break
On the plus side what a great location. Parking was easy. Room was spacious but for us the bed was a little hard even a bit lumpey but thats a personnel thing. Getting a bit dated interior wise. The mariners pub was great for an evening meal. Did not try the hotel restaurant. Was not sold on the retaurant menu. Pub prices where on par with our area. Breakfast was pleasant and offered a nice selection with full English and a nice selection of Bakery as well as the healthier offerings. Room lacks aircon but a fan is provided. Even with our window open it can get a bit warm on a hot June day. But the view makes up for that. Also there are a lack of power sockets for phone chargers. A usb combined twin socket would be a low cost fix. There is a good selection of in room tea cofee and H choc but no mine bar or fridge.

Weekend stay
The hotel is in a fantastic location near to the beach and Hunstanton centre. The hotel needs a bit of attention, the room we stayed needs a touch of redecorating and the bathroom has the beginnings of mould on the ceiling. The signage for the bar, restaurant etc and the 'processes' could do with high-lighting better. for example when we went for breakfast we were greeted with "what room number are you in?" and than shown a table to sit at with no explanation of how their breakfast process works. It felt like the staff thought we should just know where everything was and how it worked. Apart from these small things we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and had a great time.

Good position near to beach. Private parking. Quiet location. Pleasant staff. Comfortable room. Be aware that there are lots of stairs!

Lots of stairs
We stayed for 2 nights ,both nights the bedroom was cold ,we asked at reception and the lady put the heating on but next night it cold again. As my husband and I are OAP we needed a room with little or no stairs, we were given a room on the second floor! We were climbing the stairs all the time, not good .we had a meal in the restaurant we ordered the steak which was tasteless and chewy not good . Breakfast was a lot better .I don’t think we will go back !!

Classic seaside hotel
I booked the hotel and rooms for a birthday weekend, The hotel was very helpful in organising the rooms and a birthday meal. The layout and decor is what you would expect from a seaside hotel. it was clean, tidy and friendly but could do with some modernisation, but I can't fault it. We go what we wanted and what we paid for and I would certainly stay again. The rooms were a good size.

Pleasant stay , thought would be nice if all staff did wear masks especially when serving food, covid is not over yet, also not to keep touching there face to adjust the masks , get a better mask. Some nice eating out areas so that a good plus.

Very attentive staff, helpful and welcoming. Only negative was the meal in the restaurant. We asked for a specific area when we booked the table. But area was unavailable when we arrived. The prawn cocktail was prawns on a bed of mayo no lettuce, and quarter of a piece of cucumber! Fish as mains was ok. External area could do with cleaning up lots of cobwebs on the lights and railings
