Having stayed in various villages with Norfolk Hideways in the past, we thought we'd venture further west at opted for Holme Next The Sea. Lovely little hamlet, most off the main road. Pear Tree Cottage is in the middle of 4 or 5 of a row of terraced cottages, opposite the pub, which were apparently converted from a barn some time ago.
Cottage was fine for the 2 of us and dogs, small rooms but big enough for a holiday bolt. There were 2 addition single beds upstairs in the converted loft. Cottages has it's own attached small yard at rear and a large garden offset from the house approx. 10m further along rear patch. Plenty of room to play ball with dogs.
Loads of places to eat and brink locally, Thornham Delie has an excellent cafe and we found The Orange Tree in Thornham to be very good.
