Karakteristieke Victoriaanse semi-vrijstaande cottage met 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers in de stad Hunstanton, Norfolk. Hoewel het dichtbij alle voorzieningen ligt, ligt het huisje in een rustig deel van de stad. Er is op de weg parkeren en een parkeerplaats tegenover het pand. Er is een kleine tuin aan de voorzijde van het pand. Het pand is zorgvuldig gerenoveerd om enkele mooie originele kenmerken te behouden, maar met een moderne draai, met GRATIS WIFI. Er is een woonkamer, een aparte eetkamer met houten vloeren die leidt naar een goed uitgeruste keuken. Er is een kinderstoel, reiswieg (beddengoed niet inbegrepen) en traphekje beschikbaar voor gezinnen met jongere kinderen. De slaapkamers zijn verdeeld over 2 verdiepingen, een koning met ensuite, twin met aparte badkamer op de 1e verdieping. De 3e slaapkamer is ook een koning met een gedeeltelijk uitzicht op zee. De achterzijde van het pand heeft een tuin met eettafel en stoelen. Het heeft ook een buitenwinkel die kan worden gebruikt om apparatuur zoals fietsen op te slaan. Er is een scala aan stranduitrusting voor uw gebruik. De accommodatie ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen van het strand van Hunstanton / Heacham en op 15 minuten lopen van het strand van Old Hunstanton, met zijn prachtige gouden zandstranden en prachtige zonsondergangen.

De stad Hunstanton is een Victoriaanse badplaats met veel restaurants, van fish and chips tot een gerenommeerd Michelin-sterrenrestaurant. Er zijn veel activiteiten voor alle leeftijden, regen of zonneschijn, waaronder watersport, theater, golf, Sealife-centrum, recreatiefaciliteiten, kunst- / ambachtcentra, fietsen (fietsenwinkel met dikke vogels om de hoek). Hunstanton is een geweldige uitvalsbasis om Noord-Norfolk te verkennen met gemakkelijke toegang tot Sandringham, RSPB-locaties, Holkham, Brancaster, Burnham Market, allemaal op korte rijafstand of een hopperbusroute langs de kust.

Very welcoming host and great communication.Well equipt, lovely cottage. All 6 of us slept extremely well, beds were very comfortable!The cottage is in an excellent location, 2 minute walk to a local Sainsburys and 10 minute walk to shops, pubs, restaurants, sea front - lots to do.Would definitely revisit!

Communication was brilliant prior to the stay and the cottage was even more brilliant! Perfectly located with everything on your doorstep and a perfect base for exploring the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. Cottage is beautifully furnished and comfy too and really well kitted out too. Loved it!

The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were good. The settees were comfortable and the heating was efficient. The cottage is in a great location for walking to the seafront and town centre. The pottery painting studio next door but one was a hit with our teen daughter. We didn’t have any problems parking outside the property. We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Golden Lion Hotel (but expensive!) and a nice trip out to the RSPB nature reserve at Titchwell. The walk back from Old Hunstanton along the top of the cliff was pleasant.The stairs to the first floor are steep and were tricky for someone with mobility issues. Dog friendly property, however, it would be nice to provide some dog bowls for food and water. We had a lovely stay and would recommend the cottage. Thank you.

This property is in a great location - only a few minutes to walk to the beach. It is in town so there are lots of things happening. It is a few minutes further to walk to the quieter beach area where we could see the Hunstanton cliffs and some great geology. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean.

We had a lovely week in this cottage. Large enough for the 5 adults, comfy beds, a spacious dining table , great for playing board games and cards. Good WiFi and comfortable lounge with a smart TV.We used the public BP EV charger opposite, easy to use you just need to download the app. Ideal location close to a variety of shops, Sainsbury's, beach, amusements and some excellent walks. Perfect for a traditional seaside holiday.

What a find!

Lovely home from home for my family of six. The cottage had everything we could have needed for the week and we were even lucky enough to get parking right in front! Absolutely perfect location, close to all the shops, arcades, beach etc but tucked away on a quiet road so peaceful in the evenings. Host was fast to respond and assist. Would not hesitate to book again.

Lovely cottage, location and town!

This was a really comfortable little cottage for a family of five (plus dog!). The mattresses/beds were lovely and all very clean and well equipped, with lots of hot water for showers etc. The location was excellent, quiet at night, plenty of parking on the road, and yet easy to walk everywhere. Very dog-friendly town and we were able to eat out with dog in tow, especially nice meal at the Golden Lion. Old Hunstanton Beach and cafe was a 25 minute walk or couple of minutes in the car - a lovely beach and a great cafe.

The property is well located in Hunstanton with easy access to shops, pub and the beach.Well equipped and very spacious for 6 adults. We booked very late for New Year’s Eve and the host was very quick to respond and help with our arrangements. I will book again.

Great property in a quiet location

We (4 adults) stayed for 4 nights in Valentine Cottage. Had a great stay, very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Well decorated with plenty of lamps for the evenings, good sized dining table to sit around. The heating system worked well getting the house up to temperature quite quickly. A very short walk to Sainsburys, then past the high street and on to the prom. Long easy walks going either direction along the sea wall or cliff top. The people of Hunstanton were very friendly and helpful. There were quite a few options for eating and drinking and being October not too busy. We would certainly stay here again if we decide to revisit the area.

Fabulous stay

We stayed with our 2 small children and dog in valentine cottage for only 3 nights and we’re so disappointed to leave! The house and facilities were perfect (although the staircase was narrow, stair gates were available for toddlers and dog. Everything we needed was there and we had great communication from our hosts. Location was brilliant, easy walking distance to the town and all attractions, with great recommendations for dinner and activities. We spent our days on the beaches and the house ans outdoor space was perfect for that! Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for families and groups

Perfect Location

This quaint cottage was ideally located to the town and beach. Parking outside the cottage was a bonus. We were a group of 6 adults and although a little cramped downstairs the 2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds worked well. Great walks along the coast , the beaches were amazing and most dog friendly. Jonathan was a first class host, communication brilliant.

Cottage in Hunstanton in a convenient location.

We enjoyed staying at Valentine Cottage. It is in a very convenient location and we were able to walk down into the centre of Hunstanton and then to the beach every day. Other beaches were just a short drive away. A handy supermarket was a very short distance from the house. The owners have retained the character of the old cottage but have installed a lovely modern kitchen. The inside of the cottage is nicely decorated and it feels peaceful and cosy. The beds are very comfortable and the house is clean and well equipped. Communication with the owner was good.

Located on a fairly quiet street, close to supermarket and beach, very comfortable beds, lovely fluffy towels. Well appointed galley kitchen. Property could do with a deep clean and a little TLC. Owner very responsive and helpful.
