Hunter mountain skiing: seasonal rental
We had an amazing skiing season in 2023. The condo is conveniently located right by the ski slopes. The place is super nice and comfortable, has fireplace, and is nicely decorated. Many thanks to the host!

Spectacular
The location and the cleanliness of the property warrant 10 stars. Also the place is updated and modern. Heat and showers were so comfortable. Towels and toiletries were great and the fact that they were provided added to a relaxing ski vacation. The unit is truly ski in and ski out.

Great getaway
We were very pleased with the condo. It has a great layout and was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting by the fire playing board games. Check in information was provided by the owner. We are already planning on a return trip!

Great Location
We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was a great location if you want to stay close to Hunter Mountain. It is especially easy if you have small children. There must be a decent amount of snow for the “ski on ski off” ability. The property itself was very clean and updated.

great place just as advertised
This place absolutely is as advertised; it is right on the mountain easy walk onto the bunny slope and then a quick walk to the major lifts. Plenty of space in bedrooms and kitchen. I would be happy to come back and stay again.

Wonderful Accommodations
Our family of six enjoyed our ski slope 4 day/3 night stay. Space was great, loads of thoughtful necessities. Great living space for meals, movies and games. I would highly recommend Sara & John’s place.

Girlfriend Ski Getaway
Stayed at ski in ski out for a quick ski getaway. Sara was responsive and accommodating and the condo was even nicer in person than it appeared in the photos. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Will definitely be back!

The townhouse was just as advertised. Skiing right outside the unit and all was great. The place was well equipped, had a nice fireplace and plenty of wood. Easy to have food delivered, parking lot and walks were plowed (had 18 inches of snow). Would like to return.

We had an excellent time at this stunning hillside location. There was much to do in the surrounding towns with restaurants and hiking not to mention the ski in ski out. The host was very grateful to have us and also ensured that we were comfortable for the duration of our stay.

Wonderful stay in foliage times
We spent a long weekend at the property. It was super clean and comfy. The kitchen had every possible utensil to make dinners at home, which was greatly appreciated! The house is very close to a million hikes for all levels and we enjoyed a couple of those. Kids loved the loft space. Adults loved the late nights at the table. Thank you!

We were very pleased that the condo was a true ski in ski out and also very nice in terms of accommodations. The owners really go the extra mile to make you comfortable. Extra toiletries, fire wood, and essentials such as coffee and wine were provided!

Cozy and inviting
Sara's place was super cozy and inviting. we lovvvved it. we loved reading the book of memories and enjoyed hearing how others loved it also. So close to the mountain and such an easy drive for the day. Very kid friendly, cozy living room with great couches and fantastic fireplace with plenty of firewood. Loved the bedrooms, great mattresses and great blankets and linens and soft towels. Everything you'd need in the kitchen too. Easy and frequent communication with Sara- and perfect key instructions-- we will definitely be coming back next year to make this an annual trip with my immediate and extended family! <3

Great spot!
This is a great spot for slope side skiing! The condo is the perfect size for a family and beautifully maintained. Sara made it a seamless check-in/check-out process and made sure all of our needs were met!

Great ski break in December
A perfect condo for our short family break in Hunter. The location is fantastic, right next to a green slope that runs down to the learner centre where my kids were having their beginner lessons. The whole place was spotless, cosy and comfy and Sara was great to deal with. Highly recommended.

Great Place Great Location
Very clean with lots of amenities! We have rented several VRBO locations when traveling and this one was so well equipped. Sara was wonderful to work with and very responsive to any questions I sent her way! The location is great and it's just a quick walk to the base of Hunter. What a wonderful 1st VRBO experience! This condo suited our 3-couple party just perfectly and was so convenient to Hunter Ski Resort for the TAP NY festival! Everything was clean, with all the necessary amenities provided. Not a negative thing to say!

We stayed at a Sara and Johns place for a family ski weekend. We have 3 kids, ages 3-7. The condo fit us all very comfortably and was stocked with all the necessities. Games, snacks, toiletries , etc. The place is super clean and is also conveniently located slope side so you can easily go back and forth to the mountain. Sara is a pleasure to work with and responds immediately to any inquiries. Thanks Sara, we will be back!! 😊

Thank you Sara for hosting us! We really appreciated your quick communication and attention to detail during out stay. We had the best family getaway in the most convenient, clean, comfortable space. The condo is located just beside the slopes and provides all the amenities you could possibly need. The wood burning fire was a great touch as well as the games and books! Our kids felt right at home. We will definitely be back :)

Great place to stay
We had a great time at Sara and John's place on Hunter Mountain. The condo is super clean, and has all the comforts of home. Sara responds to any questions immediately and goes out of her way to personalize your visit. It was my daughters birthday the day we arrived and she arranged to have birthday balloons and decorations in the condo upon our arrival, along with a birthday cake, which was amazing! As mentioned in the other reviews, there was water, beer, coffee, snacks and condiments for our use, which was so nice! She also includes other incidentals in the bathrooms, so … if you forget your toothbrush, she has you covered! Everything is super comfortable, including the beds! Definitely recommend this VRBO!

Everything was as others have reviewed. Wonderful couple of days with the family. Only negative was we could not truly ski right out because there wasn’t enough snow but that’s not their fault. We just had to walk to the next trail.

Perfect!
We attended a wedding at Hunter Mountain and did not want to be near the chaos at the Lodge. This condo met all our needs! Close to the mountain, quiet and cozy. After the wedding we could go back to the peace and quiet of this lovely home. Thank you Sara and John! The goodies in the fridge were well appreciated as well as your clean and comfy home. I would definitely rent this home again!

We loved staying here. The snacks left out were so nice and there were helpful instructions for everything. I also had the impression from the pictures that the non-master bedrooms were small, but they are actually very spacious and so cute. Everything was great - thank you!

Cozy condo at Hunter Mountain a great getaway!
