'Black Bear lodge is a great getaway and excellent base to explore the area as it’s so central. We had excellent communication ahead of our check in, a real warm welcome and helpful with dining tips.

She was very friendly and gave us a tour of this 1889 home. She made a delicious breakfast accommodating my gluten and dairy intolerance. The bed and room were totally comfortable! Need a little more attention to detail ( several light bulbs out , no tissues in the tissue box, no shampoo in the container in the shower. ) But to be more positive the decor was fun.
