Nice little escape
Very nice cabin for a group of friends or a family to have a nice weekend getaway. felt secluded and not a far walk to the lake. will definitely consider this location again if we make a return trip to Raystown.

Quite and beautiful
I loved pretty much everything about this place. It was clean, quiet and easy to find. Only thing is counterspace! lol I like to cook and needed a little bit more room. BUT that would not deter me from staying there again!

Great vacation rental
This was the second time renting from this property group (we stayed in the Red Roof Cabin last time). We can't say enough nice things about this property or the management team. The place was clean and well stocked. It is always so nice and quiet. Great proximity to town and not too far from Lake Raystown. I'm sure we will be back again next year!

Lake cabin
The Lake Cabin's location was excellent. Its just a short drive down the street to access the lake. The cabin feels like you are secluded in the woods but is also conveniently located to the shops, restaurant's, gas stations, and grocery store of Huntington. Also short drive to 7 Points Marina. Owners were very responsive the one time we needed help. There were only two drawbacks for my family. Noises from upstairs living area/kitchen were amplified downstairs in the bedrooms. The top bunk bed is very close to the ceiling so there were a few bumped heads (my kids have bunk beds at home so are used to low ceilings. But the beam ceiling intruded in the space). Overall, great cabin in a great location.

Quiet and peaceful
The cabin was exactly as expected-literally a cabin in the woods! It was spacious, well appointed, and overall a great play to stay for a relaxing getaway. The kids loved exploring in the woods and the campfires at night.

Overall, stay was great. The place was clean with just the basics. The fireplace was a little tricky but worked well and got very warm. There was no grill, like advertised, but the fire pit was nice. The location was decent, not great for fishing but we’d stay here again!

Sept weekend away
We had fantastic weather!! The home is exactly how it's explained on the website. It's a short drive to Seven Points Marina. One of the reviews mentioned you can hear everything. And I have to agree with that. The door latches were somewhat of a pain and they are loud at night. It was hard to maneuver in the dark. Also, we couldn't find a can opener. Other than that, there was 4 adults and it was a great weekend away and our first time at Raystown. Definitely be back again.

Charming Cabin on the woods
The cabin was very charming! It’s set in the woods at the end of a gravel cul de sac which made it nice and private. Cabin was very well stocked utensils, pots and pans etc. Very clean as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Raystown Cabin
The rooms were spacious and was clean when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again. A few caveats though, the floors and walls are bit thin which was only an issue at night when someone was walking around in the wee hours of the night or early in the morning. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay.

Great spot to get away
My family and I have been visiting Raystown for over 20 years. We would all stay in the brown, red and green roof cabins when we first started vacationing at Raystown Lake. The cabin is the perfect spot for our family of 4. It's tucked away and surrounded by trees. It's a short drive down the road to a cup de sac, where a less than 5 minute walk brings you to the lake. We love Raystown Lake and coming back to the cabins where it all started was a nice nostalgic stay for us.

We had a great weekend getaway! We spend the morning swimming in the lake and the afternoon we rented a boat to check out the lake. Great property for relaxing and outside fires. Item to note: The walk to the lake was all downhill so think about that before leaving (especially with kids) but there was a nice place to park closer to the lake.

Beautiful place to stay. Quiet, back in the wood and not to far of a drive down to the lake.
We had a great time with our kids at the cabin. It had everything we needed to cook right from there inside and out. The location was not a far drive from the lake or town. The manager of the property was excellent!! Some lost dogs came up to the cabin and she went out of her way, above and beyond to help us get them into the humane society at almost 10pm. We will definitely be back.

Cozy Get Away
We stayed a few days at the green roof cabin. It was a nice get away at the end of the road in the woods. We enjoyed our stay and seen many squirrels. The ad says boats welcome - but the green and red roof cabins there was not enough room for our tri-toon to get down the road or turn around - we were lucky we didn't bring the tri-toon this time. I would ask the owners if there is another place to park your boat. Overall we were very happy with the place!

Musty bedroom
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Despite some downfalls. The bedrooms being in the basement were very strongly smelling musty. They could have had a dehumidifier running before we got there. Found one and started it it helped a little. Fire pit was great. Unfortunately it was 90 some degrees and the bugs could just about carry away after dark. The couch was super comfy and was tempted to sleep on it because of my asthma and the musty basement not helping. Another problem being an older man climbing the stairs three times every night to use the bathroom was kind of a pain

Winter getaway

The cabin was cute, nice location, could walk to see the lake, but could be cleaned better. Most all cooking utensils needed washed before use, coffee pot was unusable, didn’t want to turn fans all because there was so must dust on them, tried to pull out the sofa bed but was gross.

This was a wonderful cabin—much better than I expected. Everything worked well, except gas fireplace
This was a fine experience. There were only two of us and it was bigger than we needed, but very fine. The main suggested road to the cabin via our GPS was gated shut and locked. This was very scary because we arrived at night, and it was dark. We didn’t know what to do. I ended up walking to a house and knocking on the door. The guy gave us suggestions, but we had to turn around—which was very difficult on the small one-laned road in the middle of nowhere. This was the hill up to Piney Ranch Road. It ended up we were very near the cabin, but hand to drive ten miles to get back to this area to enter the cabin. To know if this gate being locked and an alternative route given us beforehand would have eliminated a lot of stress. This caught us by total surprise—and we had no idea what to do and no phone number to call. We nearly left.

We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this cabin was and how well kept the area is. The owners keep it stocked with everything you need. The beds furniture is beautiful and very comfortable. We all agreed that this will be somewhere we stay again in the future!!

Cabin with all the conveniences
this was definitely a cabin but nicely decorated and fully equipped with everything you need in a wooded setting. Warm and cozy once we figured how to get the fireplace lit. There were tables and chairs on the deck to enjoy, lots of chairs on the front porch and even chairs to enjoy the outdoor firepit. If we had children along the first floor bathroom could be a problem with the beds in the basement but for us it was perfect! We spent the majority of our time on the main floor. Christy was very helpful and never made us feel we were a nuisance. Highly recommend this property

We were lucky enough to time our stay with near-peak fall foliage! We’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and it’s always been consistently clean, and well appointed.
