Gnats everywhere. Never told parking on site was $15 dollars a night. If you call them they tell you breakfast is available from 6:30 to 9:30. When I went down for breakfast I was told there are no more breakfasts. There's construction going on. All of the front doors have large gaps underneath. The view is pretty decent but they're doing construction next door so soon that won't be available. I'll never go there again.

Stayed one night in Monday April 29th. Paid $100 incidental deposit. The hotel charged me $40 for something I did not take or ever have in my room. This hotel will scam/fraud you be careful staying at this hotel. I would stay elsewhere. Look up Google reviews it seems to happen often they take your deposit for something. This place is a scam. If they refund my $40 I will remove this.

I really appreciate all the remodeling that’s been done. We visited twice now and do plan on coming back. Though the newly remodeled units did have old amenities such as the refrigerator and weird pipes sticking out of the wall, The units are not completely soundproof as you hear people through the halls. And the fire alarm going off without explanation to anybody was quite odd. However, all in all the rooms do look nice. The staff is wonderful and again we do plan on coming back. Thank you

We always stay at this property when we come to HB, the location is great if you want to be close to Main Street shopping and food, the pier is a short walk. The property is undergoing renovations and we were offered one of the new rooms. Way better than before. Not to mention, the receptionist was able to check us in a little early which was awesome. They are in process of renovating this property and have signs up saying Monday to Friday work. Well we trying to relax in our room Sunday afternoon and there was construction noise for hours. Also the WI-FI does not reach the rooms away from the ocean. The TV is big but kinda useless, since your remote is locked out and you can just change channels and volume, plus the channels that work would stop working now and then. All in an ok location, easy to walk to everything from there.

The wallpaper in the lobby and hallways was dirty and stained and peeling. My room was clean and the walls and bathroom were updated but the rest of the hotel was pretty gross. The staff definitely didn’t make any effort to welcome guests or show they were happy to have you.

This property was under construction, there wee no amenities at all. The staff at the front desk were condescending and rude. I was instructed to call Expedia to ask for a refund which I did and the hotel denied it. The first room they tried to put us in, was dingy it smelled like urine and cigarette smoke, and the lighting was so poor. It was like a nightlight. They forced me to pay extra to get a “upgraded room“ and the room was only considered upgraded because it had an ocean view and a view of a huge hill of dirt. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would actually consider taking it off your list as a place the Expedia offers. I am thoroughly disappointed. I was trying to have a fun family vacation with my daughter and this hotel. Really put a damper on things. They said they offered a breakfast and a sack in the morning and they did not, the pillows were tiny like the size of a small throw pillow. There was no top sheet on the bed only a fitted sheet. I would really like a refund. I spoke to someone through Expedia and they gave me a $50 credit which I am thankful for, but I believe I should be refunded.

I didn't like that I was charged $15 for not returning the parking pass. I was not told I would get a charge if I did not return the pass. Yes, the pass stated that information. But who reads the fine print on the pass??
