'I have stayed at the Green Mountain Inn several times and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly. A nice touch is tea time every afternoon - our kids love it and so do we! The pool is beautiful especially with the two fire pits near by. The Whip has great food and atmosphere. Will continue to stay here anytime I go to Stowe. The only suggestion I have for them is to upgrade the WiFi. Still 5 stars!! Love the GMI!!!'

'We absolutely loved staying here! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. Our kids especially loved the game room and the pool, and they had so much fun exploring the stream and walking path just outside the hotel—they didn’t want to leave! 'The check-in experience wasn't as welcoming as I expected. The indoor pool and spa were under renovation during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the room was spacious, clean, and featured a nice fireplace that made it feel cozy. 'First thing you notice ,when you check in ,is the musky smell .My wife notice it immediately ,it was a total negative for her.The room was clean .The king size bed was awful ,along with the pillows.My wife did like the shower hot waster.Low scores were because of the bed and pillows..'

'We had a wonderful stay at Talta Lodge. The grounds were beautiful, and the river was a peaceful place to relax. The complimentary morning coffee was a great way to start each day. Our room was cleaned daily, and we really enjoyed spending time on the balcony, taking in the natural surroundings and listening to the birds. One small suggestion would be to replace or empty the outdoor garbage bins more frequently. They were full of dog waste bags, and the heat from the sun caused an unpleasant...

'We picked this hotel because their was a pool and continental breakfast. However after arriving we found out the pool has been closed for 5 years. There was no breakfast or even coffee makers in the room. Staff were very helpful and offered to allow us to cancel our reservation. However after 40 minutes of trying to get a refund through Expedia we gave up and stayed there. Rooms were fine, they look like their in the middle of updating accommodations.'
