Onze vakantievilla is 35 jaar geleden bij mijn ouders ontstaan en heeft elke zomer genoten door het hele gezin toen ze vanuit hun winterhuis in Orlando, Florida, naar het Huron-gebied kwamen. Mijn man, kinderen, mijn broers en zussen en hun kinderen zouden elke zomer samenkomen om naar Cedar Point te gaan, de veerboot naar de eilanden te nemen en golfen op de ruwe golf van de Sawmill Creek. Het beste deel van onze tijd samen was echter rond de villa zitten lachen en genieten van ieders gezelschap. Door het ontwerp van de open ruimte konden we allemaal samen zijn en nooit een grap missen! Toen de kleinkinderen rusteloos werden, liepen we naar het privéstrand langs de oever van Lake Erie en zwemmen in het zwembad van de jachthaven. Mijn man en ik hadden het geluk dit prachtige stuk onroerend goed te kunnen kopen en de erfenis van gastvrijheid te behouden die mijn moeder en vader jaren geleden begonnen. Mijn moeder is terug in Florida en verheugd om de renovaties en bijgewerkte wijzigingen te zien die we hebben aangebracht. Hoewel mijn vader drie jaar geleden is overleden, heeft zijn liefde voor zijn familie ons geïnspireerd om een sfeer te creëren die voor veel gezinnen plezier zal brengen. Onze reis is nog maar net begonnen en we hopen dat u net zoveel plezier beleeft aan onze vakantievilla als wij hebben genoten om het speciaal te maken voor al onze toekomstige gasten.

Amazing Villa Looking over the golf Course.

Beautiful Villa. Quiet area. Great layout. Plenty of clean dressers to use. Large walk in closet. Very clean. Lots of towels and linens. Kitchen was well stocked. Owner was amazing and communicated very well. My kids loved the spiral staircase and loft up top with the trundle bed. Was a great location to the sports park where we played in a week long baseball tournament. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful home!

Plenty of room for us to stay in this beautiful spot. The guys got to take advantage of the golf course and kids werent right on top of one another. Bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked with everything necessary! That master walk in closet was WONDERFUL with all the extras you may need. The outdoor storage closet was packed with extras for outdoor activity. 10/10 experience

Quiet golf resort

It's a great stay at this cozy and quiet condo. Very peaceful. Everything is within 7-10miles. Had a good walk at Sheldon Marsh State Nature Preserve and enjoyed the nature. There is a beach there too.We had a rare opportunity to watch sun eclipse. Very nice condo for a family to spend time. Thanks Lynn.

Wonderful condo in great community

Condo in a great golf community with a view of one of the greens and a short walk to Lake Erie. Several nice touches to the stay including - a welcome batch of local baked muffins, toiletry/bath items and kitchen products. Lots of subtle amenities including charging ports on the nightstands and towel rack on the back of the door. Conveniently located to Cedar Point and local attractions. Hostess was responsive to questions and let us check in early. A great experience and highly recommended.

Perfect home away from home

We had a wonderful time. The villa was thoughtfully furnished, the host took the time to think of what a family would need. Plenty of extra towels and blankets, and a well-equipped kitchen that also included a few essential cooking ingredients in the spice cabinet! The host also provided the most delicious blueberry muffins from a local small business bakery. We appreciated the booklet the host compiled of recommended restaurants, stores, and info about the area. The host also left her contact information in case we needed anything during our stay. The villa and the unit were very quiet while we were there.

We loved this beautiful villa. The host left so many thoughtful and considerate little gifts for us. The place was well- stocked, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Great Villa

Highly recommend

Our family really enjoyed being there especially our 10 year old granddaughter who claimed the loft. Owner really understands hospitality and provided all necessary items even wonderful individually wrapped berry muffins. Her attention to detail and timely response to any questions was a big plus. Stayed for National dance competition

Everything was as described in the listing. The one exception was the pool. The listing stated that we would have use of the community pool on the property, unfortunately it seems that some previous guests ruined that and we did not get use of the pool. The house was very nice and clean with loads of supplies towels, bedding laundry soap, even batteries and a first aid kit!! Lynn was super sweet and answered all of our questions.

Cozy Family Villa

The cozy little villa is super clean and comfortable! It is located very close to anything you’d want to do in the Sandusky area. The resort was under construction as new owners work to upgrade the hotel/lodge, but it was still a very nice area to stay. The golf course is right there if you golf and the pool was close as well. I only gave 4 stars for location/neighborhood because we were hoping to dine at the lodge and golf course restaurants as an easy/close meal, but since they were being renovated we didn’t get the chance. I am sure once it’s completed it will add another perk to this place. Lynn was super easy to communicate with and they made us feel very welcome, especially the delicious muffins!! The villa is loaded with everything you need in the full kitchen, extra bedding and plenty of towels!! It was a nice place to come home to after a long day of our kids dance competition. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone staying in the area!

Lynn the owner is terrific, asked to use garage for bikes, no problem. The other owners were friendly, their kids included my 4 year old grandson as part of the gang. The unit was 3 miles from the marina my boat is docked in. We cooked dinner most nights. Thanks

Mike and Lyn were great to work with. Due to Covid we were looking for a nice place to have our small wedding. We were able to see the Villa in advance. It’s exactly as pictured. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back for our one year anniversary. Book this place you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful home

This spot is a great getaway! The photos are accurate and the hosts put masking touches like homemade muffins, chocolates, we even had a beautiful card for our anniversary. We explored all of the local spots, wineries, beach, nature trails, carousel museum, ice cream & kelleys island - everything is 5-20 minute drive. We would stay again. *note- Monday nights nearly every Restaraunt is closed in the fall - but we still managed to find a good pub!

Excellent Property

This is a terrific “get away” property for the area with access to the beach, a pool and golf course. The villa is spacious for four people and can easily accommodate more. The owners have done a nice job making sure everything you need to enjoy your stay is right there, including toys for the pool and chairs and umbrella’s for the beach. We cooked all of our meals and enjoyed eating on the patio. We also took our bikes and found several trails to ride: the Northern Coastal Inland Trail is close by and East Harbor State Park in Marblehead also has a bike trail.

Great Home! Everything was spotless, especially while during these tough times. From the second we walked in, we were wowed by how beautifully clean everything was and smelled. Very spacious and nice decor. We really felt at home. Any and everything you need is here for your use, even bottled water in the refrigerator. And oh don’t let me forget about the basket or muffins and wine upon our arrival. Just a really nice touch on top of a super vacation experience. There was plenty of clean bath towels and bed sheets too!! Tons of closet space to unload your stuff to feel right at home. All in all this is a great place to stay and really consider. Lots to do in the area and a pool in walking distance. No complaints! Cannot wait to comeback here. Thank you

Lake Erie Condo

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Erie condo. The condo was completely remodeled and the amenities were gorgeous. We arrived to a welcome note and a gift basket of muffins and wine. The owners were so quick to respond if we had questions. The kitchen was fully stocked and made it easy for us to cook at home. The pool was close by (walk or short drive) and very clean. The condo was a bit small for a family of five, but overall very comfortable.

Great Family Vacation

This was the cleanest place we have ever stayed on vacation. If that is a priority for your family, you will want to book this villa. It is beautifully decorated and everything was so thought out. The villa had everything you could possibly need to have a great stay. Our daughter forgot her toothbrush, and there was one wrapped in plastic in the bathroom. All the luxuries of a hotel, while having the comfort of home. We ate most meals in, and the kitchen and grill managed to accommodate our crew of 7 perfectly. Mike and Lynn even dropped off a crock pot when I emailed to ask if I should pack ours. They were super to work with. We enjoyed the pool, beach, and searching for sea glass. We rented a boat and went to Kelley's Island. Everything was a short distance. Try Piped Pipers ice cream if you stay here. Ask for their special twist. We would definitely stay here again.
