'Check in was very easy.. The house was amazing, plenty of space and the pool was so nice. Our grandchildren had so much fun in there. The games room was excellent and kept us entertained most of Sunday afternoon. The beds were very comfy, with beautiful bathrooms. The view from the top of the Windmill was breathtaking, especially watching the sunset. The local pub was really nice and the food was sooooo good Thank you to the hosts for letting us share your home. '

'A comfortable small lodge / glamping pod set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Had everything we needed to help make our 2 nights an easy and enjoyable experience. Criticisms were minor: a little detritus (possibly dog hair?) on the floor on arrival; a broken toilet roll holder; a bed sheet that was too small for the mattress. 'It was very obvious from the start that the house was newly renovated. Almost everything still had the tags on it. Absolutely nothing was plugged in, turned on or tested before I got there. There were no amenities, such as soap, dish cloths, cleaning supplies, trash bags, toilet brushes, or even bins in the bathrooms. 'The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped ( even a cafetiere ). Finding that there was a sofa bed was good. The approach along the stairs isn't wonderful, a bit drab and unloved but once in the apartment, all is good. There is some street parking right outside the Stratford and we were lucky and bagged a space, otherwise free parking nearby in other streets. '

'Amazing place to stay and not to far if you want to go off site'

'We really enjoyed our stay. The location is outstanding, it is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The kitchen worked well for us, the living room was comfortable, the bedrooms were just as advertised, and the bathrooms were nicely updated. We loved the charm of the place and the little courtyard as you came in. Also fell in love with Bury St Edmunds. Abbey Gardens were just beautiful and loved the fact that it was right across the street. We will be back!'

'Comfortabele en nette woning met historie. Mooie ligging aan vijver met pub aan de overkant. 4 ruime slaapkamers voor volwassenen. Veel parkeerplaatsen. Prima vertrekpunt voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Prettig contact met snel reagerende eigenaar. Enig verbeterpunt is de petroleum lucht in de keuken.'

'Absolutely spot on what it says. The house has everything you need. The host said all we needed to take was, food, drink & charcoal for the BBQ. This is so true. The bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen & living area were spacious. With the living area going straight onto the patio area to the pool with several areas to sit & relax. This property is superb.'
