'All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel's owner, Konstantin Kostov, was particularly impressive. Always there, it seemed, and he also gave an excellent talk about the Roman baths underneath the hotel. Whatever I asked of him, he always went the extra yard. Any criticism? I had to work hard to come up with one: the fridge in my room was not cold enough!'

'This is the most beautiful old hotel right in the old city. I had a little trouble finding it as you have to pass through the barriers to get access to the old city. Looking at Google maps, I mistakenly thought access was on the main road. Hristo, the owner, had registered my car details so I was waved through the barrier with no problem. I arrived 15 minutes after the receptionist was supposed to leave but she waited for me. They've gone to a lot of effort to reflect the character of the old...

'We have spend 3 nights in the accomodation. The whole appartment was very clean and had all important ammenities. Good location, close to the center but in a quiet area. The beds were good and it is a great place if you have kids, like we, because of the room with a bunk bed. Please note that the kitchen is behind the room with the bunk bed and you can only access it from that room. The communication with the owner went smoothly. We highly recommend the appartment.'

'Charming hotel with beautifully decorated rooms. Location is perfect for visiting old and new Plovdiv. Very friendly and helpful owner. We had to leave early for the bus to Velikov and the owner arranged for an (homemade) early breakfast and a taxi to the bus-station.'

'Hotel zeer centraal gelegen. Prima Spa en ook het ontbijt is zeer goed. Vriendelijk personeel aan de balie. De housekeeping en hierdoor de hygiëne van het hotel, was waardeloos. Aan de receptie moeten vragen of er überhaupt iemand tijd had om onze kamer schoon te maken en schone handdoeken te brengen. Water koker op de kamer was kapot en hierdoor geen mogelijkheid om koffie/thee te zetten. Verschillende keren aangegeven aan de receptie zonder goede afloop. Douche bij zowel de sauna als gym erg...

'Allt var bra, men inte madrassen som var väldigt dålig. Jag var tvungen att ta bort madrassen från sängen för att kunna sova. Sovrummet och badrummet var rena och välstädade. Kvinnan i receptionen var väldigt trevlig. Hotellet saknar hiss, så tänk på det innan ni bokar detta hotell. Jag rekommenderar detta hotell. '

'We really enjoyed our stay at Hello Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were incredibly friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the eating area was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the floor in our room was a bit dirty, which was unfortunate with our baby crawling around. Still, overall it was a great stay, and the hospitality really stood out.'

'I enjoyed the my room in the these quaint historic hotel with atmosphere. My bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. I especially enjoyed sitting out in the back patio and garden. It is a wonderful location in old town Plovdiv and a quick few minutes to the bustling Kapana area with shops and restaurants '

'Rent, fräscht hotell med mkt bra incheckning, vi kom för tidigt men inga problem att få rummet. Glada städare som hejar glatt. Vatten på rummet, vattenkokare/kaffemaskin och vatten på flaska. Luftigt rum, superfräscht badrum. Bra, centralt läge i kombination tyst omgivning. '

'Absolutely wonderful hotel. Morden, a lot of natural light, very good restaurant right next to the hotel. Breakfast is fantastic. Stuff is nice, respectful and helpful. Beds are comfy, mattress are firm. This hotel is truly great!'
