Exclusive chalet with generous living spaces and sauna at Idre Mountain Lodge

Welcome to a modern and spacious 140 sq m chalet, built in 2022 and located in one of the best positions within Idre Mountain Lodge. The chalet offers a peaceful and private setting with open views of the surrounding mountain landscape. It is ideal for families and groups looking to combine nature, activities and relaxation with a high level of comfort.

The thoughtfully designed layout, generous living spaces and large panoramic windows create a bright and airy atmosphere. The ceiling in the living room reaches approximately 5.5 meters at its highest point. Together with the cozy fireplace, this gives the chalet a warm and authentic mountain feel.

The chalet accommodates up to eight guests. Guests have access to three bedrooms, all with blackout curtains. Two bedrooms each have a king size bed, while the third has two sets of bunk beds, providing four beds in total. A fourth bedroom remains locked and is used for private storage.

There are two bathrooms, each with a toilet and shower. The larger bathroom also features a sauna, perfect after a day on the ski slopes, the golf course or out exploring nature.

The dark gray Marbodal kitchen is fully equipped and offers plenty of space for both everyday meals and dinners together. The chalet also has fast WiFi, a Smart TV and a separate laundry room with a washing machine, clothes dryer, drying cabinet and ski boot dryer. This makes the property particularly convenient for ski holidays, families with children and longer stays.

The chalet is located next to Idre Golf Course and close to the river. Idre village is approximately five minutes away by car and offers grocery stores, restaurants, a gas station, Systembolaget and other services. Systembolaget is Sweden’s government owned retailer of wine, beer and spirits.

Idre Himmelfjäll and Idre Fjäll can both be reached in approximately ten minutes by car. The property is also close to several snowmobile trails, with plenty of space to park snowmobiles directly outside the chalet.

Free parking is available directly outside the chalet for two to three cars, and EV charging is also available. The spacious parking area can accommodate a motorhome or travel trailer as well.

The area offers activities throughout the year. In winter, guests can enjoy downhill skiing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. During spring, summer and autumn, the area is ideal for golf, fishing, mountain biking, white water rafting, paddling, swimming and hiking along scenic trails.

Idre is also perfect for a coolcation, offering a refreshing summer escape with crisp mountain air, beautiful nature and long, light evenings.

A popular excursion from late May through October is Njupeskär in Fulufjället National Park, Sweden’s highest waterfall.

One of our favorite places is only a few minutes’ walk from the chalet. In the evening, take a short walk up to the golf course and enjoy the sunset over the small lake and the surrounding mountain landscape. It is peaceful, beautiful and wonderfully atmospheric.

Nature is right outside the door, and with a little luck, guests may see reindeer walking past the chalet. On clear evenings, there is also a chance to see the northern lights.
