'Our host was very attentive and lovely. She invited us to a very nice evening wine party on-site aside of a small lake. It was quite charming. It was also nice to see the vineyards and olive trees. One downside was no A/C as advertised, but we had fans. Still very quaint.'

'Excellent stay at this property. It's a family owned building with charming hosts Ferdinando and Valentino. The picture shown is the beautiful terrace where one sits for breakfast or to simply contemplate life. Spotlessly clean rooms, comfortable bed, everything you need. Close to Arezzo train station and within easy waking distance of the center of Arezzo, with many dining/shopping options. We had no trouble finding free street parking. Highly recommend this place!'

'This is a quirky spot in a building where attention has been paid to every aspect of the design. The room was interesting and comfortable with the only slight downside being that the bathroom is separated by a curtain rather than a wall which is not to everyone’s taste. It’s in a great location in a stylish shop and cafe and an interesting, historic palazzo. I would definitely recommend'

'We could not be happier with our stay at Il Verreno. We arrived late on our first night and they were able to hold our table in the restaurant for dinner. My husband had Coeliac disease and not once did we have to tell the staff, they had a note in file and every single one of them remembered for the whole trip. They made changes to the menu for him, ensuring he had gluten free bread and pasta etc. the service was excellent throughout the hotel, the hotel was clean and the rooms are beautiful....

'Ontzettend prettige ontvangst in dit verblijf, mooie kamers in Toscaanse stijl ingericht. De dame aan de receptie weet ontzettend veel van de omgeving en kan je dus nog goed tips geven over wat er zoal in de buurt is te doen of te bekijken. Goede locatie om uitstapjes te maken naar bijvoorbeeld Arrezzo, Florence, Sienna etc. maar ook om op het verblijf te relaxen bij het mooie zwembad. Heerlijk diner gehad in het restaurant. Echt iets om nog eens naar terug te gaan.'

'What an absolutely beautiful stay, in a stunning place. Our host was attentive and kind, and the food was wonderful. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean, and particularly for my needs on a road trip with my 18 year old son, the accommodation offering two adjoining bedrooms was perfect, and we could park outside.
