You’ll have easy access to all of the town’s amenities, including its museum, theatre, shops, beaches, pubs and restaurants all within 0.5 miles. Outdoor enthusiasts will love being right on the edge of Exmoor National Park, perfect for scenic walks over heather-topped moorland, perhaps catching glimpses of wild red deer or iconic Exmoor ponies. Keen surfers won’t want to miss a trip to pretty Woolacombe (6.5 miles) for some of the best waves in the region. If you’re keen to explore on your two feet or on wheels, join the Tarka Trail, which offers 180 miles of off-road walking and cycling – the UK’s longest traffic-free route. Or to view this delightful part of the world from the sea, set sail from the harbour on a boat trip, with day excursions in the Bristol Channel and to Lundy.
