'What a treasure we found! Everything was fabulous especially the staff and the breakfast. The room was large and comfortable and we were even able to pay for parking on-site. I highly recommend this little gem.'

'Walking in the first thing I notice was the rooms were extremely small. No biggie. But then a few major things like plumbing was backed up so shower water filled up the floor and same thing with the bathroom faucets.. the power outlets did not work so I couldn’t charge my phone which ended up being a major issue for my night out. One of the worst properties I have stayed at. To make matters worse there is no one to physically talk to for check in so it just made it all that much more difficult....

'Rooms are tiny, with no place to place anything down. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, even across the hallway. Good location though.'

'Stayed in the room with detached bathroom because I didn’t read the description closely enough. The room itself was tiny and had no exterior windows. (I hit my knee pretty hard on the bed frame and my partner hit his head on the tv trying to get around the bed). It was musty/muggy and hard to ventilate in the room and the bathroom. 'Very friendly and close to everything'

'Bedbugs. Completely stained bed cover. Hair in the sheets. Next to a loud bar. Dirty in general. I found a bed bug and got a refund and stayed somewhere else. Yes, it’s cheap but I wouldn’t sleep here for free.'

'Although expensive, our room was nice and very comfortable! I have never had such great sleep, as I did at this hotel! Valet was nice and bell desk was wonderful! Room service food, was a 3. Vegan burger was wet, fries were cold. The margherita pizza was burnt and not edible. All in all the $1G that I spent for the weekend was worth it.'

'We enjoyed our stay at casa loma. The accommodation is in a older building. So you can hear everybody moving talking etc. Not a big problem for us. And the room was very small. But it was clean. Bed was good too. The receptionist lady was very kind. And helped us out a lot of times. So if you are in San Francisco and Need a good place to stay casa loma is recommended'

One thing that would have really elevated the experience would be having the terrace open throughout the day so guests could fully enjoy the property.
